You have swam in the shallow waters around Bonaire. Now it's time to see what dwells in the deep! Let Captain Boe use his 20+ years of experience in the fishing tourism business to show you a great day on the water.

In addition to the fish, we often see schools of dolphins and occasionally whales. The sea birds such as frigates, boobys, and terns are our constant companions. If we're lucky we may also have a turtle or a mola mola (ocean sunfish) come by for a visit. You never know what you're going to see on the water!

Fish the beautiful, deep blue waters off of Bonaire! First thing we do is catch fresh live bait. After that we make a short run (less than half an hour) to where we will start fishing. Most fishing is done by trolling lures and baits, targeting marlin, mahi mahi, tuna, and wahoo. We always have casting rods ready for any fish on the surface. For hardcore fly fishermen, we have heavy rods and big flies to chase these same fish. On the Flying Fish all fish that we keep are bled and packed in ice to ensure top quality fish. When we return to the dock our deckhand will clean your fish and put the fillets in bags for you. All marlin caught on the Flying Fish are released.

My family and I had the pleasure of joining Flying Fish Charters in Kralendijk, Bonaire, for a six-hour deep sea fishing, and it was absolutely incredible! From our first inquiry to fillets packed, the crew’s expertise and passion for fishing shone through. In planning for the trip, Captain Brian’s communication was quick and responsive and he catered to exactly what we wanted to catch and delivered beyond our expectations. We caught numerous blackfin tuna, which were filleted for us to take. The boat was well-equipped, and Captain Brian and his crew (Mike and Riley) were knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to help. The variety of tackle and bait available catered to all skill levels and preferences—even ocean fly fishing, which added a unique twist to the trip. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a beginner, Flying Fish Charters offers a top-notch fishing experience. I can’t recommend them enough—this was truly a trip to remember!

Awesome Time! Experienced, knowledgeable and friendly! The boat is well equipped and in great shape! The crew was great making sure my whole family got involved. I would highly recommend Flying Fish!!!

Great experience! Good equipment! We catched tona fish and also had a snorkling moment to see the beautifull underwater life of little bonaire.

Brian picked us up at the cruise port and took us to the marina. He and Carlito were great from the start! We headed out in hopes of hooking a Marlin, so Brian threw out all the lines and we were off! Never did hook that elusive Marlin, but I did catch an awesome Barracuda!! He had sandwiches, chips and drinks for us and they were both super friendly and informative! After fishing, we even got Brian to drive us around the island and saw places and things we could NEVER have seen in a single excursion through the ship! I even got to pet a baby donkey!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking a trip with Flying Fish Charters and enjoy Bonaire from the sea!!
