This is one package that combines the two most famous wildlife parks of southern Africa - the Hwange and the Chobe national parks. It also covers the majestic Victoria Falls and its array of activities.This is a private tour for most of the part and you will only mix with other travelers on the boat cruise and the meals places.
We take a minimum of two participants for this tour.

Hwange National Park
Upon arrival at the Victoria Falls Airport, you will be met by your guide/driver and transferred to Hwange Safari lodge - only two hours’ drive in tarred roads. After check in you will be taken for your first game drive of the trip in the Hwange Safari Lodge estate which borders the Hwange national park – there are no fences between the main park and this estate. This is a three hours’ drive which extends well into the night and there are good chances of encountering the big cats

Hwange National Park
After breakfast your guide will pick you up for the full day safari in the Hwange National park using the Main Camp gate. Mineral water, soft drinks, picnic lunch and lots of refreshments will be provided and we use any one of the many viewing platform that dot the park for lunches. You will be back at the lodge at around 16H00. The elephants of Hwange are world famous and the Park's elephant population is one of the highest in the world. The park is home to over 65 000 elephants who in the dry season dominate all the water points in the afternoons. Other animals that can be seen in the park are lion, leopard, cheetah, rhino, buffalo, impala, kudu, sable, eland, waterbuck, zebra, giraffe, baboon, warthog and a lot more.

After Breakfast you will be transferred to Victoria Falls in air-conditioned vans – a two hours trip. After check-in we will heard to the Victoria Falls, via the big baobab tree for the guided tour. The walk on this 2KM stretch lasts for about two hours and, nothing prepares the visitor for the heart-stopping experience, the sight, the sound, the smell and the humbling feeling that here is, without doubt, Nature`s Master Pierce. Mineral water and return transfers are included. We will pass by the Open Curio Markets for your souvenir shopping. At 16H00 you will be transferred to the jetty for the relaxing Zambezi River sun set cruise. Relax with a sun-downer and snacks as you gaze out onto the banks of the river. Have your camera ready to capture one of the amazing sunsets in Africa. This is a two hours boat trip with all drinks, snacks and return transfers. Expect to be back at the Hotel at about 18H30

On this day you will be collected from your hotel at 0730 hours for the full day safari in the Chobe National park in Botswana. You do not have to wait until we cross the border into Botswana to start enjoying the game viewing as we will be driving though the Zambezi National Park for 70 km to the Botswana border. The safari starts with a Game Boat Cruise on the Chobe River. This will be three hours of game viewing from the boat. You will have a buffet lunch at the four-star Chobe Safari Lodge. After lunch it will be time to take to the Chobe National Park in custom made 4x4 safari vehicles for the afternoon game drive. You will visit the upper Chobe River part that is not accessible by boats. This is where we get to see the shy predators (lions, hyena, leopard and many more) and at times on their kills. You will leave the park at about 1630hrs for the drive back to Victoria Falls in comfortable air conditioned mini buses. Expect to be in Victoria Falls at around 1800hrs.

5.00We had a fantastic safari experience with DK tours! We had customized a Hwange National Park, Victoria Falls, and Chobe National Park tour, by adding whitewater rafting at Victoria Falls and an extra day to chill! This was an experience of a lifetime that we will not forget! As this was my first safari, naturally I was quite nervous. Webster and his team arranged everything, and always had the most positive attitudes! They truly want to fulfill our wishes and requests! I also really appreciated their patience with my numerous questions and last-minute changes. The advantage of a smaller operator is that the tour size is small (there were only 4 of us on the Chobe NP safari), so it was a much more intimate experience where we can chat with the tour guides freely, and had more flexibility in our schedules. I would highly recommend DK Tours for the value and experience!!!

5.00Enock and Webster were always there to pick us up and get us to all the places we needed to be, and were even there to make sure that other tour operators showed up to pick us up for activities run by these other companies. Every detail was taken care of, and we never had to worry about where we needed to be. Accommodations were comfortable and food was good. We felt like the tour provided a good overall exposure of the area, and we saw some amazing sights.

5.00We did the 6 day 5 night tour of Zimbabwe (Hwange National Park and Victoria Falls) and Botswana (Chobe National Park). It was amazing!! Webster at DK Tours was amazing at every step of both the organisation of the trip and through our Safari itself. Enock from DK Tours and NKula from the sister company in Botswana (Tony’s Mobile Safaris) were also brilliant and took great care of us on all our safaris and excursions. Accommodation was excellent and all chosen by DK Tours as well Would thoroughly recommend to everyone

Both national parks were amazing and we saw 4 of the big 5, with all our guides striving to give us the best possible experience. Webster is extremely knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble.
