Here at this colonial styled house tour you'll have a short historic tour learning about piracy and our country's developmental beginnings while sampling some sky juice. Onto seeing the production and packaging. While waiting on the conch fritter samples you'll have a chance to walk around and purchase mixed drinks or liquor to carry home.

5.00Tamar was knowledgeable, fun and amazing. He was so accommodating and our raucous group had a fantastic time! He even took my husband to a fire station to trade patches!

5.00Did the cocktail crawl (in morning perfect temp). Shoutout to Sheila!! Had a great experience! Was able to try many drinks, highly recommend to consume and enjoy the first 2 places and last since that’ll be the only full size drink the remaining are tester shots. While traveling, walking excursions (rode bus in the beginning and walked the remaining) we loved the bus driver, he was very interactive, gave great history and always had us laughing! I would definitely recommend if interested in a chill excursion of learning new things about the Bahamas!

5.00Our tour guide Tamar was friendly, nice, helpful and courteous. We ate at Cape Shack for lunch…..DELICIOUS! We went to Tasty Teas and Aliyah was very friendly, nice, and helpful. She explained all the benefits of the different teas. The guava duff at New Duff melts in your mouth. Overall, this tour is the perfect amount of stops and tastes for an island tour. Tamar is the guide to ask for. It was enjoyable excursion for half a day in Bahamas.

Worst Food Tour Ever!

1.00Do not waste the money on this tour. We paid for this excursion during our Royal Caribbean cruise, scheduled for 3.5 hours. We stopped at all the stops listed in our excursion, but we were very dissatisfied as we barely tasted any food. It seemed as if nothing was really planned and we didn’t take any photos of the food because we were so turned off. Also, there was no water in the van as advertised. Stop 1, The New Duff, was a very little place specializing in sweet dough. We tasted the duff, two drops of hot sauce and less than an ounce of hibiscus tea. The duff was good, but we were there way too long listening to the owner/manager talk and take orders for walk-ins customers. Stop 2, Tasty Teas, was a newer building selling different teas. Here we were given 3 samples of teas available for purchase. Not what I came for. Stop 3, Arawak Cay Fish Fry, we were brought in through the back door and sat in the chairs along the wall with the big Gussie Mae mural. Each couple was given 4 total conch fritters with a sauce and then we departed. No one came to talk to us. Vance the tour guide explained a little bit about the conch and told some stories while we waited for the sample. Stop 4, Potters Cay Fish Fry, looked sketch AF. It was a local place by the dock that I never would have chosen. Upon arrival we went into a very small dining area, our 17 person tour did not really fit comfortably. Vance, The tour guide asked us if we wanted a beer (bottle) or goombay soda (can) and served a 5oz serving. Then out came the “lunch.” Two small pieces of fried fish, 1/4 cup of peas and rice, 1/8 cup of peas and grits and a spoon full of coleslaw. The food had great flavor, the serving size was embarrassing. At the end of lunch, the cook at the shack told us he had to send the kids to school on Monday put out the tip cup. The cost of the tour was way too much for what we got and I would not recommend this one to anyone.

5.00Excellent introduction to Bahamian rums and island culture. The staff was very knowledgeable and made the experience fun. Shots were plentiful!
