5.00Sophia was a wonderful guide that made sure we learned about the history of the areas we were going to and ensured our comfort each step of the way. This made the layover tour very fun despite a tight schedule. Jun was very responsive to messages in pre-planning. It would be great to know in advance when purchasing the experience also that Gyeongbokgung Palace is closed on Tuesday's. Great experience otherwise.

5.00We had a short layover and were able to get out of the airport and visit Seoul with Hun! We saw temples, the Grand Palace, a market, the Starfield Library, and more, all groom the comfort of a nice, warm van. Since we had a short day, Hun picked us up early to maximize our time. I would recommend to others looking to fill a layover or longer.

5.00The tour was so great with SOO as our guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Korea and the places we went to. He provided us with hot warmer that help us with the cold weather. We enjoy chatting with him as he was very warm and sincere. Now we know the history of Korea inside and out because of SOO. Highly recommend this group….. on time and very clean vehicle…… he is now our friend from Korea…. See you in our next adventure…..

5.00Soo was the perfect guide for our first trip to Seoul. He was so thoughtful and considerate of our needs while providing us with interesting information about Seoul. He provided us with the BEST hand warmers ever, water, and even a charger. He also gave us tips about what we can do during the rest of our time in Seoul, as well as delicious restaurant recommendations. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

A Private Seoul Tour That Felt Personal, Easy, and So Much Fun

5.00We had such a fun time on this private Seoul city tour! From the moment we booked, everything was straightforward and completely stress-free. Communication was quick, clear, consistent, and totally fluent in English. We were asked what we wanted to see, and I explained that I’m a big K-drama fan, that we had limited time, and that we wanted to see as much as possible. We also shared that we’re confident, well-travelled people, so we were happy to explore areas within walking distance of our hotel on our own. Instead, we wanted the tour to focus on places that were further out, harder to access, or more challenging without speaking Korean. Our designated guide, Hun-Lee, offered thoughtful advice, we trusted his judgement, and the bespoke itinerary he put together was spot on. Meeting on the day was just as easy — no delays, no confusion, everything ran smoothly and exactly as planned. The people carrier Hun-Lee drove us around in was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with individual seats and water provided, which we really appreciated. We managed to see so much in one day without ever feeling rushed, including Gyeongbokgung Palace, Insadong, Bukchon Hanok Village, the Gangnam Style statue, the Starfield Library and mall, Hangang Park by the river, and Gwangjang Market, where we visited the famous noodle stall from a Netflix documentary (and, of course, the doughnuts). We decided to skip Seoul Tower on the day to avoid the national holiday crowds, and Hun-Lee was more than happy to accommodate that. What really made the tour special, though, wasn’t just the personalisation — it was Hun-Lee himself. He was friendly, knowledgeable, fun, and incredibly easy to spend time with. It felt far less like a tour and more like exploring with an old friend we hadn’t seen in years. He was also clearly well known in the places we visited, often chatting with people while we looked around, which made a real difference — from getting into a busy Insadong tea shop with ease to grabbing doughnuts quickly at Gwangjang Market when it was crowded and had long queues. Those small moments really added to the experience and made it feel genuine, relaxed, and personal. Our tour with truly added something special to our time in Seoul. When we return — and we absolutely will — we won’t hesitate to book with or Hun-Lee or Awesome Tour again. Thank you so much, Hun-Lee, for such a warm, memorable, and thoughtfully planned experience!
Great tour in Seoul with guide Soo

5.00We had a short stopover in Seoul on our way back home from Australia and decided to do a guided full day tour. We had the best guide ever! (Soo). He picked us up from our hotel at Incheon and was well prepared. It was a very cold day, but he had jackets if we needed (being from Norway…we had warm clothes), heat pads, water and bisquits. Soon speaked very good english, and had a soft and nice personality. He gave us just the right amount of history and info about the places we visited. We had a lovely day with lots of experienses, and Soo found a great restaurant for lunch - with Korean beef barbeque as we wanted. All in all - a great day. After the tour Soo drove us to the airport - for our flight. (We saved a lot of time because we had a big van - and brought the suitcases with us all day.) Highly recommend this company - and Soo.!

5.00We had our New Year’s Day tour with Soo. He got up early and met us at the airport for our 15 hour layover. We came from Vietnam so our attire was not appropriate for 20 degrees. He provided jackets and warming pads for us! He went above and beyond to procure more jackets for our family. Our family was on 4 hours of sleep and he was so accommodating on how adventurist our moods were from lack of sleep and the cold. We got to see most of the main attraction that Seoul has offer. Car was clean and he managed our time perfectly getting us back with plenty of time before our long flight back home!!!
