The whitish salt field, not a rice field, of course. A special bonus tour for our guests who join our floating and railway market tour in 2020. This sea salt is produced by Thai local wisdom. The salt farmer will rotate the sea water in different levels matching the strength of wind and sunlight. The rotation will continue until the salt becomes a “salt mountain” which are ready for cooking, skincare, and agriculture. On the Highway 35 in Samut Sakhorn province, our guide will lead you to rub the salt to your hand and take amazing photos!

5.00Great private tour experience with a wonderful tour guide (Jim) and a quick & efficient driver! Definitely a great way to see the Floating Market and the Railway Markets on a day trip from Bangkok.

2.00This was a 6.5 hour tour of which 4.5 hours were travel. Not as advertised one hour! First we drove in a van to RR station, then 1 he train ride to RR market. Followed by 20 min ride to pier then after flaring market, 2 hours in van back to Bangkok. The guide was essentially a babysitter. There was zero commentary about each destination. She didn’t even inquire about bathroom needs during long duration. I finally asked and there was a sketchy option. I had asked in advance for a little much stop. However, since the floating market closed at 1 pm, her offer of a much later look much was rejected. There was no time to shop, and during this long day, we even had to skip the salt farm and coconut farms to see a glimpse of the major destinations. Yes, the RR market and floating market was interesting. But I never would have booked this tour realizing how much was travel and how little was tourism.

5.00We had an amazing experience on the Floating Market & Railway Market Private Tour with our guide, Ice! From the very beginning, he stood out for his excellent communication. He contacted us the day before to confirm the details and messaged again before arriving at our hotel right on time. Ice explained everything clearly and answering all our questions with patience. He shared interesting local stories and cultural insights along the way. He was also very courteous, friendly, and attentive — always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Ice took great photos for us, recommend local snacks, and tailor the experience to our interests. If you want a great guide, Ice is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

5.00Floating market and railroad tours was fantastic! We were picked up from our hotel on time and the driver Kevin navigated traffic like champ throughout the tour. Lin is truly an asset to Viator. She broke down what we should expect at the Mao Klong train market and then the floating market. She is an expert with moving us through the markets. She was our personal photographer as well. We have the best pictures to add to our memories. Lin also gave suggestions on other must see during our visit. She was personable and was easy to understand. I highly recommend the tour with Lin.

5.00All the places that we went are awesome. Loved the rail trip and the market with the train passing between the stores. The sugar coconut farm was incredible also. The boat very nice the only thing the government must clean better the canals.

5.00We had an amazing experience with this tour. First of all, our Tour guide Jim is so knowledgeable, nice and hospitable person. She’s our tour guide and also has great photography skills - takes amazing instagrammable photos along the tour. What I like about this tour is that they don’t just drop you off to the destination, they actually plan to make it a more wonderful experience by having you ride a 30-min train to reach the railway market, and having you take a boat from a village to the floating market. That in itself an amazing and memorable experience. Our amazing driver Lucky waiting to pick us up from one spot after another with cold water and refreshing towels to help us after finishing exploring the destinations. Both Jim and Lucky are incredible at what they do, I felt that we were taken good care of during the whole duration of the trip, and were thinking of how they can make the whole trip comfortable and fun. I am extremely grateful to both of them. Thank you!

5.00Poppy is as amazing. Knowledgeable, flexible, and helpful. She knew we wanted a more local experience so she took an alternate path back to our hotel so we could experience more local Thai culture. The floating market was a bit of a disappointment, with mire souvenirs than food products as we expected but the overall trip was well worth it.
Great combined activity. Highly recommend.

5.00Our guide, Oil, was great. Not only did we see the sights, we had excellent insight and photography services. our guide took us to a coconut plantation, family owned/operated where we learned about coconut sugar. The floating market and railway markets were a highlight of our vacation.
