  We've made it with Carlos which we would highly recommend. It's been a recommendation of a French couple which we want to greet & thank for that. The knowledge of Carlos about the Forest & the history of the last decades of Osa & his humor made this experience remarkable & funny. Of course diffent kinds of apes & also birds & smaller animals & plants made this tour a nice and individually felt one. Then the 2 highlights are bathing in a nice pool & the smooth been driven with the flow in a small river until the ocean with little armpaddeling at the end near to the turtle station. Add. it's important for Carlos not to have a big group which is resulting in nice & quiet moments in  the nature :) 10/10 Adiós de Alemania, Co

• Unforgettable journey through the Primary Forest

  A big recommendation on my part for this tour with Carlos. It is a unique experience to drift in the river through primary forest. Carlos tells a lot of interesting things about the fauna and history of the region and is a very pleasant and entertaining guide. The really small group size is great.

  Great experience with Carlos, super guide with whom we floated along the Rio Claro. Stop at the natural pool with waterfall and snack. Then down the river with a life jacket to let the current carry us. Finally lunch at a typical Costa Rican restaurant. All surrounded by Carlos' explanations that he is also active and present in the area with the project 'proyecto de limpieza de playas' for garbage collection teaching young boys who help him in the project.   The tour was really fun: we explored the jungle, swam in the waterfalls, and then let the river current carry us to the beach. Finally, we strolled along the beach to the restaurant for lunch. But the real difference is our guide, Carlos: he's incredibly talented, knowledgeable, and friendly, and his project of clearing the beach of plastic and teaching children to respect nature is truly worthy!

  We did three tours with Pacheco (sirena, Cane Island and this one all very well organized), but THIS tour was the best. Carlos, an old hand on the area devoted to preserving the ecosystem and beaches, gave us a wonderful experience. We saw so much. It starts with one hour walk through primal rainforest (note: the sirena tours near the rangers station are in secondary forests), followed by a delicious dip in a water hole under a water fall, and then 1.5 hours floating down the Clara river. The best memory of the Osa peninsula !!!!

  By far the most fun tour we have done in this area. An hour and a half walk with Carlos, who knows a lot about this primary tropical rainforest and can tell very passionately about all the plants, animals and the history of this unique (private!) area. Then you float down the river in an hour with an inverted life jacket. You don't need anything but water. Carlos provides delicious snacks and makes beautiful photos and videos. You go with a small group and don't meet any other people. In addition, Carlos has other beautiful projects such as cleaning up plastic waste from the beaches, where he makes art with the local youth. By participating in this tour, you contribute to this as well!

  Carlos is a truly amazing human with incredible knowledge. His respect and love for nature is beautiful. The floating tour is super fun , we all absolutely loved it , food at the end was delicious and we will definitely do it again in the future 🙂

  We had such a great time on the Floating Tour! The floating itself was so much fun and also really relaxing — the river is beautiful and calm, with amazing jungle scenery all around. Carlos was an excellent guide, super friendly and very knowledgeable, and he shared lots of interesting facts along the way that made the experience even better. The hike through the jungle was a great addition and made the tour feel more adventurous. Everything felt well organized and easy, so we could just enjoy the experience. Honestly one of the highlights of our trip — highly recommend the floating tour to anyone!

  Highly recommended Tour, so nice! Carlos knows everything about the nature and the animals. The floating is so much fun and you can see birds and monkeys while you‘re floating down the river. If you have the chance to, you should definitely do this!

  I just finished this tour and it was absolutely incredible. Our guide, Carlos, made the experience unforgettable. He is extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and clearly loves what he does. His enthusiasm for the rainforest and its wildlife made the whole adventure even more special. The tour itself is stunning from start to finish. You walk through beautiful rainforest, swim under a waterfall, and then float peacefully down the river all the way to the ocean. It’s such a unique and magical way to experience nature — both relaxing and exciting at the same time. I can highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Drake Bay. It was truly one of the best experiences of my trip!
