5.00An incredible tour at an awesome price! Honestly, one of the best distillery tours I’ve been on. Our guide balanced educating us on the history of the distillery, and its operations, while being very humorous. The tasting portion of the tour was fantastic and allowed you to taste nearly all of their offerings (with generous pours)! This is a humble distillery that is crafting incredible spirits. Go check them out!

5.00We had a great time during the distillery tour and tasting. I don't normally enjoy gin, but theirs was incredible. The whisky they had for the tasting were very interesting and nothing like what I have had before, I had to grab a couple of bottles to take home. The tour was pretty small but still very informative to how they make their various spirits.

5.00Beautiful location, very informative and entertaining event, many varieties were allowed to be tasted, and we also purchased some FLÓKI merch in the shop because the design also appeals to us a lot. I'm not really a whisky fan, but I was there and excited about the event. In addition to the creation of the distillery and production of the first Icelandic whiskey, I was most interested in the story of sheep manure whiskey :-) And thank you to the linguistically gifted, eloquent speaker who also had a sense of humor.
Rock was awesome and the tour and tasting was so worth it!

5.00My spouse and I had a fantastic experience at Eimverk Distillery. Rock was an outstanding host and tour guide—clearly passionate about his work and incredibly knowledgeable about the unique Icelandic ingredients and processes that make these spirits so special. He was also very personable, and we had great conversations throughout the tour, which made the experience feel relaxed and personal rather than scripted. The spirits themselves were excellent—truly unlike any gins or whiskies we’ve had before. You can really taste how distinctive the ingredients and approach are, and it makes Eimverk stand out in a big way. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Reykjavik area, whether you’re a spirits enthusiast or just looking for a memorable, uniquely Icelandic experience.

4.00The tour was about a 15 minute taxi ride from downtown Reykjavik. It would have been one of the most economical activities that we did while in Iceland save for the transit. Because of the length of the tour it was an ideal option for a short window during an afternoon and one that my father (in his 70s) enjoyed. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. A couple things to be aware of, this is a micro distillery and not like the larger distilleries that we are accustomed to in the US. That did not take away from the experience, but it was different than what we anticipated when we booked the tour. We tasted numerous gins and whiskeys during the tour as well as learned the correct method for tasting a gin. This is not a tour that I recommend for kiddos; I just don’t see that there will be anything for them to do.
