  Matteo was wonderful. The meeting place was easy to navigate especially if you are coming from the cruise port. Plenty of time to sightsee at both destinations. 10/10 would recommend this excursion

  We had an amazing experience with Mattei and their tour agency. Our Florence and Pisa day trip was smooth from start to finish. Mattei was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we had plenty of time to explore Florence on our own without ever feeling rushed. He kept everything organized and stress-free, which is exactly what you want on a tight schedule. They also made sure we got back to the port with time to spare, so we never had to worry about missing the ship—huge relief. If you want a well-run tour with a great guide who actually looks out for you, book with Mattei and City Sightseeing. Highly recommend!

  Our tour guide Kiyko was a very charming guy and helped guide me back to the bus via a Whatsapp video call when I got a bit lost trying to find my way back lol He was very friendly with the entire group and was the perfect tour guide to go with. Thank you very much!

  We had a great day visiting Florence and Pisa, everything went smoothly. Our tour leader Lumi was warm and welcoming, friendly and informative. The tour coach was double decker and very comfortable. The driver Maximillian looked after us well, and made sure we got back to our port on time. One point, we paid 8 euros extra when booking for a guided tour, but this seemed to be available to everyone.

  The drop off points were not near the main attractions so expect to walk a lot. That being said it was a wonderful day and the guide was great.

  Fabulous seamless trip. Viator had an agent waiting at an easy to find meeting point. Handed us over to the tour guide Mattia who was great. We had a 1.5hr coach trip from our cruise to Florence. 2.5 hrs there then coach again to Pisa. What a great day. We opted for the additional walking tour in Florence. It was well worth it. • Failure of Viator and this tour company.

  We followed the instructions to go to the meeting point. We were supposed to see someone from the tour company holding up a sign of the tour. When walking to the meeting point, we never saw anyone. Arrived at the supposedly start point, no one was there. I called Viator for help as well as the number of tour company. Viator was of no help. Their response was that they would contact the tour company. In the meantime, the person I spoke with asked if they could communicate with me on WhatsApp. I said yes. On WhatsApp, they asked that I send copy of my booking, which I did. They responded back asking if I was some else. I said no and gave them my name. I never heard from them again. I called Viator two times more, same response as before. Called back the Tour Company, no answer.... We missed the tour. I asked for a refund. No surprise, it was denied by the same tour company that made no attempt to help us get to the tour bus. I'm not sure what happened, but I suspect there was a mis-step with their arrival that morning. We were where the instructions led us too.before the start time of the tour. The learning experience from this is... should you run into an issue, do not count on Viator Customer "Care" to help. Don't trust this tour company to help either. I won't be booking another tour with Viator. I had four other tours with Viator, with no issues. However there are a number of other tour booking companies that are available. They might even practice good customer service. I think Viator was a complete failure in this instance.

• Good tour for cruise guests

  Florence was beautiful, even if time was a bit tight there – there were only about ten minutes left per sight before we went on. Next time I would therefore not book the Walking Tour (Classic Option). For Pisa there was enough time. A big thank you to the two Martinas for the great organization and smooth transfer.

• Great way to do excursions

  At the last minute we decided to buy tickets to Florence and Pisa using Tripadvisor. The purchase was easy. The pickup was at the town square near the cruise shuttle drop off. Shore Experience Livorno picked us up and Frederico was the tour guide. The bus was clean and comfortable. Frederico did an amazing job.. He explained everything in both English and Spanish. The only issue we had was the crappy weather.. but at the end of the tour we were dropped off at the ship.
