Great communication, fun experience and beautiful setting. The chefs were very educational, entertaining & kind. Went with my husband and 2 adult boys (24 & 21). We all enjoyed the experience. Very impressive company that hires such talented people that know how to teach and entertain. They were able to connect a group of strangers in such a comfortable way (our group ranged in ages from 2 teenagers to newlyweds to single travelers to multiple retirees). The facility is amazingly beautiful & has the best views possible. I definitely prioritize experiences over things and this will be an experience and memory that we will have and will use and can share for a longtime. Thank you to the walkabout team! This is a “must do” tour while in Florence.

What an amazing day! Traveling with family ages 18 to 76 and this was a highlight of the trip! Would recommend investing a day for this!!!!

A wonderful day in a beautiful Tuscan setting. Alessia and Carmelo made the pasta-making and sauce preparation both clear and great fun, guiding us patiently as complete beginners. I especially enjoyed learning that an Italian “drop” of olive oil is rather more generous than I had imagined! The gelato-making with Letisia was just as enjoyable and encouraging. It was a real treat to eat the pasta we had made and then sample such a wide variety of gelato flavours. The whole day was well paced, relaxed and full of warmth, giving us time to enjoy both the food and the surroundings. A truly memorable experience in the Tuscan hills.

You get a delicious meal, wonderful experience and beautiful views with this tour. I highly recommend it for a fun experience that is different and gets you out of the crowds. The staff is really kind and engaging. Titziera, Ludwig and Arora made a great team. Pardon potential name spelling errors. Come hungry.

Excellent cooking experience, very interactive with lots of food and drink. We learned how to make a bunch of different dishes and sauces with very straightforward directions.

This was an amazing experience! It was a short drive out to the farm where everything was set up and ready to start learning. The structure of the classes was really well thought out, bouncing between pizza making and gelato while ingredients needed time to set or cool. We had absolutely wonderful teachers! They were funny, informative and had everyone laughing. It to mention ALL the pizza and gelatos tasted delicious! 10/10 recommend and would definitely sign up again for another class when I’m back visiting.

This Pizza & Gelato Making Class at the Tuscan Farm was truly one of the highlights of our Italy trip! The experience was perfectly organised by Walkabout Florence, and the entire atmosphere was warm, fun, and authentic from start to finish. The journey to the beautiful Tuscan farm itself was already amazing, with stunning countryside views that made the whole experience even more memorable. A huge thank you to Ado, Tiziano, and Lodovik — they were incredibly friendly, sincerely, entertaining, patient, and passionate throughout the session. They made everyone feel welcome and kept the class lively and enjoyable the entire time. We learned how to make authentic Italian pizza from scratch and also discovered the secrets behind making proper Italian gelato. The instructions were easy to follow, even for beginners, and the hands-on experience made it both educational and fun. Best of all, the food we made tasted absolutely delicious! What really stood out was the genuine hospitality and positive energy from the team. It never felt rushed or overly “touristy.” Instead, it felt like spending time with friends in the Tuscan countryside while learning real Italian cooking traditions. The recipes and tips they sent afterwards were also a very thoughtful touch, allowing us to recreate the experience back home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Florence — whether you are travelling as a couple, family, or group of friends. This is an experience full of laughter, great food, beautiful scenery, and unforgettable memories. Definitely a 5-star experience!

A truly wonderful experience! The pizza and gelato we made were amazing and delicious! Our chefs; Aurora, Tiziano and Lodovik were not only great instructors, but they were also very entertaining! Definitely a 5 star experience at a beautiful location!!!
