Florianópolis, known affectionately as the Island of Magic, is a coastal paradise home to more than 40 beautiful beaches. Admire the island’s natural landscapes and learn of its rich history on an 8-hour tour from Balneário Camboriú, which includes round-trip hotel transport.

Get acquainted with historical landmarks such as Praca Xv de Novembro and Palacio Cruz e Souza, and admire Hercilo Luz Bridge. See, too, the colonial gems that surround Lagoa da Conceição and drop by the Joaquina Beach, where various national and world surfing championships take place.

Leaving Joaquina, we will go to Barra da Lagoa, where we will have free time for lunch (not included).

Catedral Metropolitana de Florianopolis

Praca XV de Novembro

In the most important square of the city, we’ll get acquainted with Praça XV de Novembro (15th of November Square, named after the date in which the republic was proclaimed) where the imposing Palace Cruz e Souza stands, which now houses the historical museum of Santa Catarina. The Palace is important in many ways as it's staged many important moments in Brazilian history throughout different points in time. It hosted both Brazilian emperors during their visits to the city and was stormed by revolutionaries during the federalist revolution in 1891. It seems this palace has seen its share of history.

First the van arrived with only 1 place and I had 2 tickets, did not realize this "detail", is 4 hours standing on the beach in Joaquina, does not pass by Anglais, Barra da Lagoa, Jurere, etc as do other tours and still with better price. Find out who does this tour in the area.

When I hired the service I requested a guide in Spanish, but the whole tour was only in Portuguese. The guide left us at one point in Florianopolis historic center, gave a brief explanation, in Portuguese, and then was free tour. Later, we were taken to Playa Santa Joaquina, and on the way we were shown the Laguna Concensao... then we returned to BC. I would say we knew very little of the city of Floripa..

a lot of time on the beach, it was not scheduled that way, it was exhausting to be able to continue with the rest of the tour. Even so, the guide was very friendly, there were few places that were known, I thought it would be more historical.

Everything was punctual, the bus was impeccable and a good guide, although the tour said Spanish, the person understood but spoke Portuguese, that was a bit complex. We went to the city for a while, there is little to see, although I suppose there is not much else. The beach they took us to had very cold water, very icy, and it was very full of people, that was not very pleasant. The return was good, we stopped at a couple of very nice viewpoints.

Praia San Joaquina very beautiful and packed with attention from a restaurant, only x consume gave you umbrella and chairs. The beach with waves (a lot of surfers go), a lot of adrenaline and exquisite (although salty). The bridge is taken very good photos (weekends only pedestrians, weekdays there is journey of vehicles). We went to the floripa center but one Saturday and it was mostly closed. Finally, the guide spoke only Portuguese, although he was very close and tried to ask if you needed something, very attentive.

The journey from the airport to Camboriú takes between one hour thirty minutes and two hours depending on traffic. That's why you have to walk early if you're going to the airport.

Punctuality and especially the sympathy of the guide Vilma...educated, with a lot of knowledge that passed us...told us everything about history, the economy of the region, culture....the driver Venâncio also very friendly and polite!! I recommend!!!

The first part of the City tour was excellent. The advertisement informs that it goes to the beach of Jurere, but we went to the beach of Joaquina and caught congestion to get there, and only in the end the guide discovered that was having a stage of the International Championship of Surf on a beach near the place, in addition to eating in a restaurant, Pedra Careca, which was not good.
