Fly above the Fontainebleau Forest on a hot-air balloon ride that provides aerial views of the French countryside outside of Paris. During a morning or evening flight, look down on rivers, villages, and the vast forest, which was once the hunting ground of French kings, home to wild boar, deer, and pheasant. The ride takes place either just after sunrise or at the end of the day, when winds are calm and the air is cool and stable. The total adventure is about three hours, including balloon inflation, a 1-hour flight, a traditional toast upon landing, and return to the start point. When booking, you have the option to upgrade to a private tour for just two passengers and a pilot in the basket.

2 important issues that could improve my flight experience from good to excellent

5.00it was a life-time experience. talk about the balloon flight itself - the view was fantastic as we were blessed with very good weather. But i would like to bring to both the operator and viator 2 issues: the appointment time advertised on viator was 6:30pm, but the actual flight time started at 1630hrs. it could easily trap people from other region of the world that are not too used to 24hrs time listing. second, the operator indicated the meeting point at carrefour of Av de Maintenon. it could easily leads not french speakers to relate the meeting point to supermarket carrefour. can we change the meeting point description to crossroad or junction. having said all the above, i still wish to give credit to the balloon pilot, who really did an excellent job. merci beaucoup

5.00I was intrigued because I had only known of hot air balloons flying early in the morning, so I was anxious to try an evening flight. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The area is beautiful, so many trees and green as far as you can see. The pilot, Jean-Philippe was professional and so helpful. I felt completely safe with him and the crew. As the sun went down it was a magical experience, the light over the horizon is something I will always remember. After a smooth landing we were served champagne and enjoyed the setting sun.

5.00Thanks again to the whole team for this incredible experience above a site of Fontainebleau this 30/05, at dawn, to Jean-Philippe an outstanding pilot who knew how to make this flight magical, suspending our pod above the pond of a superb castle, connecting us with nature by grazing the trees, a breathtaking view👌 to finish with a glass of champagne in hand and a pastry from the whole team, what a beautiful attention 😊 a very nice team, professional, family I recommend 👍👍

5.00Departure from the castle of Fontainebleau for a balloon baptism. Installation of two large reactors to inflate the balloon. We take our seats climbing the pod and here we go. We take altitude slowly, the burners whirl under the hand of Jean Philippe our pilot. We discover the castle its canal and park. We realize that the immensity of this remarkable forest of Fontainebleau. The pilot tells us the different cities in the distance and we can distinguish even in very small, the Eiffel Tower. The pilot descended to brush against wheat, barley and rapeseed. Top Jean Philippe, what dexterity.... We fly over a few villages, and it's already time to land. We take the position that the pilot taught us at the start and here we are in a field in Larchan. After helping to tidy up the ball (not obvious) we finish with a cup offered by France Mongolfiere. I really enjoyed this flight, a real discovery, very professional staff, thanks to Jean Philippe who by his calm put us at ease right away. Long live the next flight.
