It was a very nice tour by Mer. In addition to delicious food, they also taught us about the history and culture of Tainan. They also introduced me to spots that I could visit later at my own pace. (Tour was conducted in English)

A great tour we highly recommend. Our guide Annie was exceptionally knowledgeable and personable. For us, it felt like visiting a new city with a friend. Annie introduced us to many local foods and cultural sites in Tainan in way that was well organized and very enjoyable. While the food was not included in the tour price, it was all quite affordable, and we got a lot of value from all that we learned from Annie. It was definitely one of the best tours we had during our stay in Taiwan.
Our guide, Mao-san, is very knowledgeable about Tainan...

Our guide, Mao, has a lot of knowledge about Tainan. The four-hour walk through the city was over in no time, as he talked about not only the tourist attractions of Tainan but also the history, geography, literature, religion and food culture in detail. It was also great that they introduced us to delicious snacks popular with the locals. Her Chinese was very easy to understand. It also helped that they took a reasonable amount of breaks along the way. They introduce you to many delicious foods, so you should go hungry.

Very enjoyable tour. Excellent way to taste a variety of Tainan's food (including a delicious dumpling and noodle lunch), visit the market, see a number of temples, learn about Taiwanese customs and history, and generally get a good sense of the city. Annie was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and we had a delightful morning.

It was our first introduction to Tainan so it was nice to have a guide to show us the places to eat and learn about temple etiquette and some history. Our guide was nice and knowledgeable. Unfortunately the food is not included in the tour, which I found surprising for a food tour. I wouldn't recommend based on the price.

This was a fantastic tour. The guide Jenny was amazing and showed me streets and places off the beaten path. I was impressed by her knowledge and skills at navigating the alleyways off the main streets. You would never off thought there was so much activity and culture down these alleyways. There was a good amount of information shared and area covered. Highly recommend.
Jenny made Tainan unforgettable with great stories, local knowledge, and delicious food stops.

Jenny gave us an absolutely wonderful tour of beautiful Tainan. We truly enjoyed her engaging stories, deep knowledge, and the way she brought the city’s history and culture to life. The delicious stops at local food stalls were a real highlight and added so much to the experience. Without Jenny, we would never have experienced Tainan in such a fun and memorable way. She knows exactly where to go and shows you the very best and most charming spots in the city. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and highly recommend her to anyone visiting Tainan.

We had wonderful food, and learned a great deal about both food and culture! Jenny is extremely knowledgeable about a diverse range of topics, from cooking and markets to temples, the colonial history and the cultural and literary figures of Tainan. Even if you have done a food or Taiwanese culture tour elsewhere on the island, you will not regret doing this one!
