If you haven’t seen Hozenji Temple yet, let’s go explore together! Right in the heart of the bustling city, we’ll walk through an alleyway that feels like a step back in time. Discover Hozenji Temple, and immerse yourself in the rich history and atmosphere of this unique area.
Dotombori
Just step off Dotombori's main street, and you'll find yourself in a lively area where locals love to gather. Here, we’ll stop by 1 or 2 cozy local izakayas (Japanese-style pubs) and bars and enjoy unique food and drinks just like the locals do! We’ll also walk through vibrant backstreets, hidden alleys, and local spots along the way. Your guide will take photos throughout the tour, so you’ll have lasting memories. ※You'll walk about 5 minutes between each izakaya (occasionally up to 10 minutes). Haven’t had a chance to see the famous Dotombori Glico Sign yet? We’d be happy to go check it out with you!

5.00This was an amazing experience that I will treasure! There were only two us which made for a nice intimate tour! Tetsu was an amazing guide and gave us a brief tour of a few places and its history before we started hitting the izakayas. Tetsu chose some amazing izakayas with delicious food and drinks! Definitely dont eat or eat much before going. I was very full by the end! The owners were all very friendly and the other customers didnt mind having foreigners there. We tried some amazing dishes and drinks based on what the owners/chefs recommended. I even got to try fugu nihonshu! We talked with some of the locals and even bought one a drink as a thank you got snacks she gifted us. Tetsu even accompanied us to one other stop after the tour ended. I now have some wonderful memories and a better understanding of the izakaya culture and etiquette. If youre up for an adventure in food and drink and ready to mingle with locals, this tour is for you! Next time im in Osaka I will definitely be signing up again!

5.00This guided bar tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Osaka! The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We visited several small local bars and izakayas that I never would have found on my own — each with its own unique atmosphere, drinks, and snacks. The best part was how authentic the experience felt. Instead of big tourist spots, we explored hidden neighborhood gems where locals actually go to relax after work. The guide explained the customs, recommended drinks, and even taught us a few useful Japanese phrases along the way.

5.00The most memorable & fun tour I’ve ever done! A true local experience that didn’t feel like a typical guided tour. We made friends with locals along each stop and went to places you just can’t find as a tourist. I can’t say enough good things about our night with Tetsu. This is what I pictured when visiting Japan, and will be a highlight of our whole trip.

5.00Great experience with Tetsu as our guide. He took us off the beaten path to three tiny Izakaya, and all the food was OISHI !!! A small group experience is a must; you get the royal treatment from Tetsu & the Izakaya owner. So happy to have chosen this tour! Arigatoo gozaimashita Tetsu-san! We had a blast celebrating our 41st wedding anniversary with you and would definitely do it again next time we're in Osaka.
