5.00Xoshil was so amazing and personable! We learned so much about Guatemalan history, culture, and food culture! We saw so much of antigua, walking on foot, which is what we prefer to get to know a city. It was perfect for our first afternoon to get our bearings! The food and stops were all amazing and culturally significant and all businesses thelat we visited were locally owned by Guatemalans! I would 100% book this if I were to do it over!

5.00Xoshil was an amazing tour guide! She shared the culture and the history of Antigua amazingly. We fell in love with Antigua Guatemala once we arrived, but Xoshil made this trip extra special. We may visit the restaurants during our stay here again!

5.00We went on the foodie and street food tour with Xoshil, and it was AMAZING! One of the top experiences I have had traveling. Xoshil was incredible, incorporating the culture and history of Guatemala as we traveled from coffee shops to candy shops to restaurants. She gave our tour such a personalized touch that made our night in Antigua so special. Cannot recommend highly enough!

5.00We had a great time on this tour with Xoshil. Had peipan at a comedor in the central market, shucos, a chocolate tasting, coffee tasting, a stop for tostadas & elotes at some food carts, and a cocktail. It was a perfect start to our trip as we picked up tips that helped us stay full for the rest of the trip :)

4.00I recently went on a food tour in Antigua, Guatemala, and it was an incredible experience. The guide was both knowledgeable and personable, making the journey through the city’s food scene engaging and enjoyable. We explored a variety of stops, from bustling food stalls to cozy restaurants, and even ventured underground for a unique cocktail experience. Every dish we tried was delicious, and the portions were plentiful—enough to count as a full dinner. One highlight was that the guide went above and beyond by sharing the location of a local sweets shop after the tour ended, which added an extra layer of authenticity and charm to the experience. While the tour was fantastic overall, I have a couple of suggestions for improvement: ⁃ Include a stop at a local market to sample some of Guatemala’s amazing tropical fruits. ⁃ Update the instructions for the final stop, as the tour did not end at the original starting point as indicated. Despite these minor details, I highly recommend this food tour to anyone wanting to immerse themselves in Antigua’s vibrant culinary culture.

5.00We had a fantastic tour with Xoshil. She was kind, informative, and very excited to share her favorite food spots in the area. I ultimately booked this particular tour because of their ability to accommodate a vegetarian diet, but this tour was also well reviewed by the meat eater of the group! We had a great variety of Guatemalan food ranging from a traditional stew dating back to Maya origins, to a Guatemalan late night food staple. She also peppered in stops for specialty coffee and handmade chocolates among other things. I really appreciated getting to walk through the large local market for one of our stops. Overall, it was one of the better food tours I’ve been on. Great guide, great food, and lots of wonderful information about Antigua. I would highly recommend booking!
