Discover a new angle of Cascata do Caracol through the paths taken by the first resident of the region. You will discover the region where tourism began in Canela and Gramado, visiting Vale da Lageana, in Caracol, in search of Pé da Cascata. In a mix of echo, adventure and history, you will be taken along the same path that the first resident of Caracol did when he lived in those areas and discovered the waterfall that, for many, was nothing but a legend.

Part of this adventure is riding in an offroad vehicle, hearing the story of Guilherme Wasem and his family, doing an unexplored trail, taking memorable photos at the foot of the waterfall and even having a picnic remembering the origins of the German settlers.

New paths await you to be explored. Welcome to Pé da Cascata!

You will know the area where tourism in Canela and Gramado began, in search of the foot of the Caracol Falls. In a mix of echo, adventure and history, the tour follows the way of the first inhabitant of the Caracol until the discovery of the waterfall. The experience includes a theme vehicle, a little explored trail, photos at the Foot of the Cascade and the famous Infinito Balance in front of the waterfall. To complete, a special stop at Casa da Vó Ivonne, a welcoming atmosphere that preserves memories and stories of the first residents. Prepare your mobile phone to record the most exclusive tour of the Serra Gaúcha. IMPORTANT : Mandatory use of closed footwear suitable for trails. Avoid social or thin solado shoes. Passengers without appropriate footwear will not carry out the activity. Departure point : Casa da Vó Ivonne – Estrada da Lageana, 285 (Rural) – Bairro Caracol. Arrive 20 minutes in advance. (Transport to the point not included.)

I loved the experience. The trails are beautiful, everything very organized. The waterfall is beautiful. Lunch at Casa da Vó Ivone delicious.

Easy trail and with guide follow-up. The view from the waterfall is wonderful but it is a short walk. A negative point is the restaurant that serves as support at the start of the tour. Very expensive food. There is no other option. Either you eat lunch there at a very high cost or you don't eat anything. The worst thing is that you're surrendered because it's a remote place. It would be interesting to have a snack option for the trails.

PERFECT! Who likes contact with nature is impossible not to like. The experience on the balance is sensational!!! The photos are show! It is 20min walk in the car, and the trail are 600m.

Wonderful experience. A special highlight to our wonderful guide Mauritius, which made our tour even more special. The trail to the waterfall is very beautiful, the photos and videos in the waterfall look beautiful. Lunch at Grandpa Ivone's house is wonderful, food and delicious desserts. It is worth taking this walk. You will not regret it!!!
