Forbidden City Guided Tour Itinerary: 08:30: Meet your tour guide at the meeting point nearby the Forbidden City. 09:00: Forbidden City guided tour will last 3.5 hours and the sightseeing route includes the most majestic and brilliant ancient buildings. 12:30: The tour will end at the north gate before you can continue to explore the Forbidden City.

3.00It was great to have a guide to navigate through the Square and museum. The sightseeing itself was interesting but the tour guide was okay. Our tour was extended by 30 min because the entire group had to wait for two members due to their personal reasons. The presentation was dry and boring.

5.00Our tour guide for the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square was Vanessa, and she was truly exceptional. From the moment we met her, she made us feel welcome and well cared for. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always made sure we were comfortable at every step of the tour. Vanessa went above and beyond in every way and she anticipated our needs, adjusted the pace for us, and always checked in to make sure we were getting the most out of the experience. Her passion for history really showed: she shared fascinating stories, detailed explanations, and unique insights that brought the Forbidden City to life. She answered every question with patience and deep knowledge, making the entire visit engaging and unforgettable. This was honestly one of the best tours I have ever experienced, and Vanessa played a huge part in that. We are extremely grateful for her professionalism, kindness, and the personal touch she added throughout the day. I would highly recommend her to anyone visiting Beijing as she made our experience truly memorable.

5.00Linda was amazing. Incredibly knowledgeable, energetic and so friendly. I would 100% recommend this tour, especially if Linda is at the helm. The Forbidden City is stunning, vast and so interesting. The tour was approx 5 hours long, which was just about right. Thank you again, Linda!

5.00Great experience with our tour guide named Snow. The place is amazing and the buildings were beautiful. Snow has a good commend of English. She was a good communicator, knowledgeable and friendly. Our tour didn’t include Tian’anmen Square, which was a bit disappointing. The combined tour was not available at the time of booking. Tour lasted 4 hours

5.00My guide Icy was likely the most responsible, empathetic and resourceful guide I have encountered throughout all my travel experiences. I have just lost my passport prior to the tour, she not only managed to help me enter the attraction but even went out of her way to contact the previous attractions that I visited after the tour has ended. And she actually managed to locate my passport! I also see that she has been very proactive in helping other group members with their ticketing issues as well as provide further recommendations after the tour has ended. Beyond all that she is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She was very patient and detailed in her explanation. On top of providing a very in-depth explanation on the history of forbidden city, she also provided more background of other dynasties and modern china as we were walking from point to point and when we were queueing. It was my absolute pleasure meeting Icy and I hope many others will get to experience the tour with her!
