A private driver and Animal Sanctuary Animal Specialist will shuttle you from the Fredericksburg Game Farm Tasting Room via your Brand New Zebra Tram on a behind the scenes tour of your exotic wildlife and ranch operations.

You will see and possibly feed exotic animals like Kangaroos, Camels, Zebras, Alpacas, Bison and Longhorn! We also raise Boer Goats, Ponies, Nigerian Dwarf, African Pygmy and Saanen Dairy Goats, and even some Donkeys.

A truly unique experience. Head to Fredericksburg Texas for the top rated tour in town! Hosted at Fredericksburg Game Farm (a true hidden gem in Fredericksburg), you will get a behind the scenes look at the operations and interactions of a working farm and animal sanctuary! A driver will shuttle you via tram as you meet and feed Kangaroos and Alpacas, possibly pet a Camel, feed goats, deer and maybe even a Zebra. These animals are part of the family and many have been rescued. You will also enjoy great wines and scenic views, plus beer and even cocktails at Fredericksburg Game Farm after (or even before) your tour. We are a Winery with a Full Bar! Remember, this is a working ranch deep in the Texas Outback. Dress appropriately (no open toed shoes) and apply caution as you enter the property. Drive slowly on property and stay in your vehicle until you are parked at the Fredericksburg Game Farm Tasting Room. Loose livestock roam the property.

It was beautiful, the vineyard was stunning and all the animals were very sweet and easy to feed. The tour guide would give us food to feed them even after we ran out of the bags we bought which I thought was really nice. It’s definitely a place for animal lovers. I had my 7 month baby with me and nothing was difficult to do with her in my arms. It was a very relaxing and informative experience. The only critique I have is that the first tour guide that took us through the animal pens dropped the F bomb a lot and there were multiple children present so that kinda bothered me but he was very nice to us. It was just the cursing in front of kids that was like woah. But besides that it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone booking a trip to Fredericksburg.

There was a large variety of animals in the “petting” section of the tour. The guide was knowledgeable about all of them and was friendly. Having feed for sale and giving guest carrots to feed animals was great. On the driving part of the tour, there was again, a large variety of animals. Guests are aloud to get out of the vehicle in many areas to feed animals. Seeing so many animals from several continents was great. We highly recommend the “safari tour”.

Fun day at the farm for all ages! The staff was very helpful particularly with Omi who had mobility issues. Great interaction with the animals. Thanks to Dusty for making it extra special!

Absolutely fun! get there a bit early the place is beautiful. Start with a guided your of the petting zoo. Fantastic. Kiss a camel? Why not?! next on to the tram ride safari. Fun for young and young at heart! Staff is fruendly, attentive and knowledgeable.

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, Clean bathrooms and pretty pavilion for drinks! Great view of the hill country as well

The wine is cheap wine from HEB - talking like $7 a bottle. You do not get wine during the tour - which the tour in total took us 2 1/2 hours and NOT 1 hour and 30 minutes, because they were running late. The address that was on the "viator" ticket was incorrect so we accidentally went down someones driveway to their house. The tour w/out wine was $55 and with wine it was $85. We paid $30 extra for the "wine tasting" that they chose again from HEB. If we wanted a whole glass of a wine we like it was $15. They have such good reviews because you get a free drink if you give a good review.

I really didnt know what to expect because I didn't read any reviews. It was a last minute type of thing. But we had a blast! Ive been on a similar safari and it was no where as good as this one! It was way shorter. I really felt like I got my money's worth. It was our anniversary weekend.

My husband and I went this past weekend. We really enjoyed the interaction with the animals. The guides were very friendly and gave us some great information on all the different animals we encountered. We didn’t get the wine tasting package, but we did purchase a glass and it was very good.
Fun friendly atmosphere.

It was informative & family friendly. Enjoyed it all. Wine barn was nice with comfy places to congregate. Food trucks & other vendors were also onsite.
