Payne's Tour Services gives passengers a look at Frederiksted. First stop is St. George Village Botanical Garden with arboretum. The garden is set in and around a 19th century Danish sugarcane plantation with over 1500 native and exotic species. Next, we will visit the Cruzan Rum Distillery, take a 30-minute walk and learn about the culture of St. Croix. Adults will get to sample varieties of handmade Crucian Cruzan Rum which I consider to be the most honored rum distillery in the world. Children underage is also welcome; they will sample a variety of Juices or soft drinks in lieu of rum. Last, we will go to Rainbow beach which is popular for families or anyone who wants to spend a perfect getaway. Its white sand and perfect water is best for swimming, snorkeling or just enjoying and relaxing in the calm, clear water.

Cruzan Rum
Our guided walking tour takes you on the aromatic journey of turning molasses into rum at the only still functioning historic distillery site in the Virgin Islands. Guest receives a 30-minute walking tour of the distillery where they will learn about the culture of St. Croix and the process of making Cruzan Rum. Following your tour, you'll visit our Sampling Bar and taste a variety of Cruzan Rums, and sip signature cocktails. Children are welcome on the tour and will get their choice of 2 juices or soft drinks in lieu of rum.

5.00The driver was very accommodating with the kids and allowed us to go at our own pace. The kids loved the botanical garden and the adults loved the rum tour. Late lunch on the beach was a perfect ending.

1.00BE AWARE OF PAYNE’S TOUR COMPANY. FIRST THEY don’t RUN AN ON-TIME SCHEDULE MEANS YOU WILL BE LATE TO ALL THE STOPS DURING YOUR TOUR. SECOND - YOU WILL HAVE NO TOUR GUIDE because Payne’s Tour no coordinated ahead of time with the places. Third - Payne’s Tour use only one driver for multiple excursions. Its mean you can be dropped off at one place and have to wait long periods of time to be picked up. 4- They have zero customer service It’s mean they don’t apologize or at least give you an explanation of nothing. 5- They say on the excursion details what’s included but not true. Its means the driver is just a driver don’t expect to know about your surroundings from the driver like historically places or interest points in route and don’t expect the bottle of water bring your own . 6- when you try to make a claim via Viator app , Payne’s Tour call you just a liar be aware. Conclusions- Avoid Payne’s Tour at all cost , Viator should investigate them on how they treat customers on their platform, I used Viator and they’re excellent on Customer Service and support for a company like Payne’s Tour messed up. There’re better Tours operators than Payne’s Tour please choose wisely not like me I choose poorly.
