Damlatas Caves

Also known as the cave of the dripping stones due to it’s interesting stalactite and stalagmite formations, this is a must for all nature lovers. Your guide will be able to point out interesting formations and things to look out for as well as explain to you how the cave was formed. There’s a fascinating story of how the cave is believed to be able to cure asthma in anyone that comes inside it. You will regularly see asthma sufferers visiting the cave for 4 hours a day for 3 weeks to try and cure their ailment.

John and Anna, our gudes, were excellent. They were friendly, helpful and well informed. They made sure everything went smoothly and ensured I was okay when I was struggling climbing up some steps to the castle. The views of Alanya from the cable car and castle were breathtaking

Not for bad legs,after cable car you need to go up to the hill castle by stairs, if you want to see the castle area. We did see cats and goats up the hill, very nice! Cable car was really good, with amazing views! John and Anna guides are super !

I had a wonderful afternoon exploring Alanya Castle with a fantastic husband-and-wife guide team. They were incredibly knowledgeable and brought the area to life with interesting facts, stories, and a great sense of humor. One of them was especially chatty, which made the tour feel lighthearted and engaging throughout. I initially thought the cable car went all the way to the top of the hill, but it actually stops partway: there’s a steep walk to reach the very top which some participants struggled with. It was well worth the effort. The panoramic views were absolutely stunning, and I captured some amazing photos from various viewpoints. The group was made up of mixed travelers, which added an extra layer of interest to the experience. Overall, it was a memorable tour, and I’d definitely book with this lovely couple again. Highly recommended

Great experience, so fun to ride on open top bus, gorgeous scenery, its group booking so need to make sure on time for meet up point on each location. If you want to know more about history, make sure u close by the guide tour, he is happy to let you know the magnificient history. Oh plus £8/pp for cable car which was good as well.
