Wadi Rum Protected Area
After exploring Petra, you'll head to Wadi Rum, which is about 2 hours drive away. Wadi Rum is a desert valley that is famous for its stunning rock formations and red/yellow sand dunes. You'll have 2 hours jeep tour of the valley, which will take you to some of the most beautiful sites in the area and take a nice picture then return back to amman.

5.00Our day tour to Petra and Wadi Rum with Saada from Jordan Landmark Tours was absolutely fabulous from start to finish!!! He made my two daughters and I from the USA feel so comfortable and safe. We rode in a very nice, air conditioned car, and he had free water bottles to give us throughout the day. Plus he would stop whenever we 3 girls needed a restroom break. We have had many tours in other countries throughout the World, and Saada was so personable and his English is so very good! If we ever came back to Amman we would definitely have him as our driver again as he was one of the best drivers safety wise we have ever had! He is so knowledgeable in regard to Jordan’s history and everyday living questions, and we had many questions, and all he answered honestly and so we would comprehend. We cannot thank you enough Saada for the wonderful day!

5.00We came to Jordan for 2 days and one day spent with Anees as our tour guide to Petra and Wadi Rum. He arrived to pick us up from our hotel on time. He was very pleasant, polite and made us feel very safe. Knowledgeable with the history and made us comfortable while on a long drive. Wad Rum - our tour guide was Kusai who drove us around and explained many historic spots. We recommended these trips 100%. Thank you! 🇯🇴

5.00It was an amazing experience. I did the tour with a friend and we loved every moment of it. Mahmoud our driver was very kind and friendly. The Jeep Tour with our driver Qusaey was a real highlight! He was very friendly and informative and took us to the best spots to take pictures. Thanks a lot for the experience. I would definitely recommend booking the tour with them.

5.00I joined the Petra and Wadi Rum jeep tour as part of a group option, but due to fewer tourists at the time, our booking was generously upgraded to a private tour at no extra cost. This made the experience feel much more personalized from the start. Our driver, Safwat, picked us up early in the morning and immediately set a welcoming tone for the day. He was friendly, attentive, and thoughtful throughout—providing drinks, sharing useful information, and making sure we were comfortable during the journey. We began with Petra, entering with our Jordan Pass. Although we had the option to book a guide through the tour company, we chose to explore independently. We spent about three hours there, visiting key highlights like the Treasury. While we didn’t make it to the Monastery, this was expected given how much time we spent enjoying the Treasury and taking photos, along with the tight schedule for the day. One tip: bring some cash in JOD, as certain viewpoints within Petra require separate cash payments not covered by the Jordan Pass. After Petra, Safwat picked us up promptly and we continued on to Wadi Rum. The drive itself was scenic, with several beautiful stops along the way. Upon arrival, we met our jeep tour guide, Qusai, who truly elevated the experience. He took us to multiple stunning locations, helped us capture great photos, and shared insights about the history and present-day life in Wadi Rum. Thanks to Qusai’s friendliness and enthusiasm, Wadi Rum ended up being our favorite part of the trip—even after being amazed by Petra earlier in the day. After the jeep tour, Safwat drove us back to Amman, wrapping up a long but incredibly rewarding day. Overall, this tour exceeded my expectations and gave me a deep appreciation for Jordan’s natural beauty. I only wish I had more time to explore other places like the Dead Sea. I would absolutely choose this company and these guides again without hesitation.

5.00Hassan was my guide/driver. The car was clean and had outlets in the front and back seats. Hassan had wifi available, had bottled water for us and made sure we had bathroom stops. Prepare for miles of walking at Petra. During the jeep ride at Wadi Rum you make several stops for photos. There were bathroom srops along the way. This is a very long day but it is absolutely worth it.

5.00Petra is a gem and worth every penny. We almost cancelled the excursion with everything going on but decided to go since we flew all of this way. Our guide promptly picked us up at 7am. The drive takes about 2.5-3 hours. He stopped half way there for a toilet break and snacks. When you arrive at Petra there is a visitor center. We chose to walk which took approximately 30 minutes downhill. It was a little chilly walking through the caves but very scenic. Then it opens to Petra like the movies. Not many people were there when we got there at 10am. You can takes pictures with the camels or chose to take a hike up to look down on it for a fee ($10-$15 JD). We stayed for about 2 hours which was plenty and paid $30 JD to take a ride in a golf cart back to the visitor center. Highly recommend this tour.
