  The ride from Auckland is long but the experience was great! The caves guide, Ross, was great, as was Ali, our driver. Ali was kind, and on top of things and we really liked him and he did a great job with everything!!!

  We left our main tour group to do this on one of our free days and it was so worth it! I went with my mom who in the past has been afraid of caves because she doesn't like small spaces. She had the best time and was so happy that she went too! This is a once in a lifetime experience if you don't know if you'll visit again. It was magical! The driver Joe and the person who gave us the tour of the caves were both excellent! There is a little bit of walking between the two caves. My mom who is 82 did it, but had to take her time. The terrain is at times hilly and uneven getting to the caves. Once you get to them there are handrails and paths to follow, so it's not bad. There is plenty of space to move through the caves. I'm short and didn't have to duck at all. My mom is 5'9" and had to duck a few times, but was fine. The boat ride to see the worms was wonderful and was like being in another world. The guide got pictures of us in the cave. You must experience this at least once if you are in the area.

  This tour was fantastic. Baf was our driver who took care of us by stopping for a break coming and going to the cave. He went with us on the tour of the cave. It’s quite a drive out to the glow worms and cave but was worm it. We floated through the cave in darkness and our cave guide told us when and how to take photos of the glow worms. You must wear a hard hat into the cave to protect you from bumping your head. We also saw big eels in water before going to the cave. It was an awesome experience.

  Great fun. Driver was friendly. The caves were awesome and guide was friendly. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

  Bring a good camera and enjoy the experience. Oh and bring a jacket too, as it can be quite cold inside the cave.
