We will meet at Basel SBB train station and next will enjoy a scenic 3-hour train ride through breathtaking landscapes until Zermatt
Gornergrat
Next we'll hop on a 30-minute cogwheel train ride up to 10,000 feet, where you'll be greeted by stunning views of the Matterhorn and surrounding glaciers. At the top of Mt. Gornergrat (3,135 m), we can enjoy a year-round snow and panoramic views of over 20 majestic peaks, including Monte Rosa and Liskamm. Take in the breathtaking scenery or explore the interactive multimedia experience that brings the alpine world of the Matterhorn to life. We'll have as well 1 hour for lunch and free time.

5.00It is a long day but so worth it. The Matterhorn and the area around it is so amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice. The train ride to the Alps was good. The windows on the train are very large so you can enjoy the countryside. Our guide was great. He gave us lots of great information and showed us so much. He was so patient as we were two elderly ladies and needed to rest some and walk slow. It was well worth the money.
