You will be taken to discover Omaha Beach — the most symbolic shore of June 6, 1944. A place where history meets the wind, and silence says more than words. As this is a private tour, the itinerary can be adjusted to include Canadian or other Allied landing sites instead if you prefer.

We had a really pleasant time, accompanied by a passionate and caring guide who adapted to the whole family and made us discover all the secrets of this fascinating place. Between captivating anecdotes , beautiful landscapes, and tasting breaks full of charm in the French we lived a memorable experience that we recommend without hesitation!

The Range Rover ride is original and comfortable, and the picnic added a real moment of conviviality. An enriching and pleasant outing, which we recommend without hesitation!

5.00Went with three friends for the full-day tour. We’re really into WWII and stories, and this did not disappoint at all. The local food was also great : cider tasting and oysters with local producers ! You feel very free but also well looked after at the same time. Honestly a great experience, especially with friends!

5.00I would highly recommend this tour of the World War II sites in Normandy. Not being much of a history buff this tour didn’t really catch my interest. However the rest of the group I was with wanted to take the tour so I went along. I was quite blown away at how interesting a skilled guide like Liv was able to draw me into this historical era. She brought the era to life with vivid details and even with a sense of humor that made the history feel very human in a way I never experienced in a history class. I especially enjoyed the adventure of riding in the vintage Range Rover and tasting local Normandy specialties – the local cheese, apples, cider, and calvados were a real treat. Please don’t miss this excellent tour!

5.00My wife and I had a last minute opportunity to visit the UK and wanted to visit The Normandy beaches. Our US travel agent found us a Viator all day tour which fit into our limited timeframe. We were greeted by Liv on Monday morning at our hotel for our trip from Caen to Normandy. We allowed her flexibility in the days schedule which turned out to be above our expectations. Our stops included 3 beaches (British and 2 USA) including the US cemetery. She provided background on each location and allowed us time to roam on our own. We stopped for a great lunch at a beautiful garden hotel and had a wonderful time exchanging personal stories. We enjoyed hearing of Liv’s life behind the scenes. She has been to all 50 states in the US and we have 5 to go. Her English was very understandable without the French accent. She wrapped up our day with a cider and cheese tasting which was a perfect end to a somber day for us learning about D Day and the Allied efforts against the Germans. Liv gets a 5+ from our experience.

5.00First visit to Normandy and the invasion beaches for me and my wife — this tour exceeded our every possible expectation. Mathieu was the perfect host, integrating D-Day with cultural/gastronomy stops along the way, a perfect blended experience. Riding in a vintage Range Rover an added benefit. The Normandy region is beautiful and peaceful — this trip made us want to return for more. We give this tour our highest possible recommendation!

5.00What a fantastic way to explore Normandy and the D-Day landing beaches! Matthieu picked us up in a beautifully restored vintage Land Rover. It was spacious, comfortable, and full of charm. The tour offered the perfect balance between historical visits and delightful culinary stops: savoring oysters fresh from the producer, enjoying lunch in a stunning garden, and tasting cheese and cider atop a cliff with a breathtaking view. These breaks not only showcased the region’s flavors but also provided time to reflect and process the moving experiences of the beaches and cemeteries. Matthieu is an outstanding guide: knowledgeable, engaging, and generous in sharing his insights. This tour was truly memorable.
