The pick-up was fast, the ride was comfortable, and the scenery was unbelievable. The guide kept the mood light but educated, and each stop seemed properly planned. Taking us back to the ship on schedule was no issue. Enjoyed the little perks such as the bakery stop, and in all honesty, this made the whole day in port effortless.

Our guide Valerie made history come alive without overloading us with dates. The bus was tidy and had air-conditioning, which was especially welcome as it was hotter than anticipated. We enjoyed a good amount of time to view the attractions. The pick-up and return were trouble-free, so we didn't worry about reaching the ship. I also appreciated that there was a brief bakery drop-in so we wouldn't starve.

We were picked up right on time and everything felt easy from the start, guide explained things clearly, and each location had a great vibe. It was educational, but never boring. Honestly, I’d recommend it to anyone visiting by cruise.

Okay, this was most likely one of the highlights of our shore tours. Pick-up was literally right outside the cruise terminal, really simple. Our guide Norman was great, humorous, and had a wealth of knowledge. Bus was modern and comfortable. We spent sufficient time at each site to tour without pressure. I particularly liked the fact that they arranged a break to eat, as I had brought snacks because of food allergies. We returned to the ship with plenty of time. Everything was well-planned and laid back, making the entire day easy-going. Would definitely do it again on our next cruise.

The guide, Norman, was so enthusiastic and had a lot of information. He made sure we all understood exactly what happened in Normandy. The pickup was just on time, comfortable ride, and every stop was significant and worth it

This was so easy and stress-free! The company communicated excellently. They picked us up directly outside the ship. Our guide spoke perfect English and took us to all the most important DDay stops. This was so much cheaper than what the cruise ship offered and much better!! Would use this company again.

I’ll be honest – I signed up for the D-Day tour from Cherbourg mainly because I felt like I should. You know, when in Normandy and all that. I wasn’t expecting to get super into it, but wow – it actually turned out to be one of the best days of the cruise. We started off from the port in a comfortable coach, and our guide was one of those people who somehow makes history feel like a Netflix miniseries. Super knowledgeable, but also funny and engaging. No boring lectures – just real stories, cool facts, and some wild tales from D-Day that I had no idea about.

Fabulous tour. Tour operator easy to spot right off the cruise ship. I really enjoyed seeing small towns and villages as we made our way to the beaches. Our guide was truly awesome. Very, very knowledgeable and I learned a lot. My father was on the 4th day coming in on Omaha Beach and it was very special seeing the beach and tributes. I was overwhelmed by the American Cemetary. No negatives other than the amount of walking. It was quite a challenge for me.

This was an all day trip to important sites related to the D-day battle. Our guide and driver were wonderful and the entire day was very moving. Not recommended for children or those who are unfamiliar with this episode in history. Only complaint (and we were off season, so limited options), was the lack of provisions. If you are coming from a cruise, bring food!
