Wat Rong Khun
The popular temple in Chiangrai,place must visit.Wat Rong Khun, better known as the White Temple, is a Buddhist temple in Pa O Don Chai, Mueang District, Chiang Rai province, Thailand. Situated outside the city of Chiang Rai, the temple attracts a large number of visitors, both Thai and foreign, making it one of Chiang Rai's most visited attractions.
House of Opium
The Hall of Opium at the Golden Triangle Park houses several sections to be explored and various exhibitions to be contemplated. The Hall of Opium Museum is a combination of multimedia and exhibition to make learning more fun. Aiming to educate people about opium, this exhibition portrays every angle of the story, starting from the history of the Golden Triangle, the origin of opium, the opium war, opium warlords, drug smugglers, opium effects, the battle against opium and poppy growing, to rehabilitation of living conditions of the people who live in the central of the Golden Triangle, the former worldwide infamous drug trading zone. The exhibition features the following zones: Entrance Zone: A 137-meter-long dark tunnel towards an artificial poppy field in the Hall Zone. Hall Zone: An artificial poppy field, where you can learn about various species of poppy flowers. Opium in Siam Zone

5.00What a fabulous day out touring Chiang Rai and surrounds. It was an early start but so worth getting ahead of the crowds at the White temple and the blue temple . We then went on to the black house to explore plus a delicious Thai buffet lunch. Next stop Kareng Village then to Choui Fong tea plantation . There was a slightly longer drive to The Golden Triangle and opium museum. Guitar, our guide was fantastic; friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly had the trip running to schedule so that we got to see everything . He allowed enough time at each stop to explore and take photos. The van was clean and comfortable with plenty of water if you needed. We highly recommend this tour (and G’tar our guide ) as a great way to explore many sites easily in one day.

5.00A busy day with our guide, Fido, very competent and who knew how to transmit knowledge about the places visited as well as the culture of northern Thailand. Our favorite was the visit to the black house, impressive and authentic.

5.00Overall a great tour of 3 temples, 2 museums, a tea plantation, as well as the Golden triangle - all with excellent guiding by our trusty guide Ping and driver Mr. A. Ping was not only an excellent and knowledgable guide, but extremely organized and communicated to the group using WhatsApp to inform us, pass along exhibit details and photos from the day. A great learning experience and well worth the time and money!

5.00Wonderful. We made all the stops in time to see everything. Very nice temples, other interesting places and both Ping guide and Tony driver very friendly, helpful and attentive. Since we don’t speak much English, the guide has provided us with information through whatsapp since we hired a tour in English. The food included has been given to us in a very nice place, and the taste was very good. A pleasant experience

5.00It was a fantastic day, quite long but we saw so much. The white and blue temple were quite different to some of the other temples we had seen. The Black House art installation was excellent very unusual and memorable! Buffet lunch was brilliant. Karen village very interesting and the tea plantation very relaxing with a cup of tea and cake. Amazing to see the stunning very dramatic views across the Golden Triangle where the Mekong River separates Myanmar, Laos and Thailand. Our guide Guitar was absolutely brilliant as was our mini bus driver Anthony, thank you both for a really great day of experiences with plenty of time to explore in our own way.

5.00I thought I had seen enough temples, but I really enjoyed the White and Blue temples. They were different than the temples in the south.
