5.00Beautiful outing in the desert. 550km in 2 days but many stops that allow to pace the trip and many discoveries associated with the explanations of the guide. We were a family of 5 in a 7-seater SUV with the guide and driver. In all 3 4x4 for our excursion what remained an affordable sized group. 2 great days full of memories

5.00It was a wonderful time from start to finish with so many wonderful memories that we gratefully took home. Our German-speaking guide Ahmed took us with him into the uniqueness of the desert with his enthusiasm for his country. It was so beautiful and the camp was very clean. The starry sky was a very special experience and we will never forget that. Quad bike and camel ride in sunrise and sunset completed this trip brilliantly. We felt in good hands and would love to experience this trip again. It was just fascinating and we even experienced 15 drops of rain in the desert....just mad

5.00We had an extraordinary experience with Départ Travel Service, as a family (two adults and three children aged 14, 8 and 3), in the Sahara desert of Tunisia, from Djerba to Ksar Ghilane. For two full days, accompanied by an exceptional guide, Zizou, passionate and very cultured, and a very pleasant driver, we followed the discoveries without wasting a minute. Departure at 7.30am on the first day, return the next day at around 4pm, with four meals included in the total price of 500 euros for the five of us. We crossed fields of olive trees as far as the eye can see, rode on a sparkling salt lake, visited an ancient Roman fort in the Sahara, and explored several authentic Berber villages. We admired the cave houses, discovered the Star Wars filming site, now transformed into a hotel, and witnessed the artisanal making of almond and honey pastries. A visit to the Tataouine market completed this immersion in local traditions. In Ksar Ghilane, magical moment: bath in an oasis with naturally warm waters (35-40°C) from a 100-meter borehole, in an idyllic setting, in the middle of the desert. We were able to swim on arrival, then the next morning. All with breathtaking scenery, magnificent views and a grand spectacle along the way. It is one of the most beautiful trips we have made, out of time, rich in emotions and perfectly organized. Thank you to the entire Depart Travel Service team for this unique adventure. We leave with stars full of eyes... See you soon!

5.00Very good trip. Our zip guide and our heater Murad were up to it. Beautiful landscapes. However, remember to bring all your toiletries to the camp. There's no bath towels or soap.

5.00Simply amazing, beautiful, exotic! Over 2 days, the tour is perfect! We were caught on time at our hotel, our guide Zizou and driver Walid were amazing, super friendly, they explained a lot of very interesting things. We have seen plenty of historic places, with hard-hitting explanations! Everything went very well! I really recommend because no negatives!

5.00We had a wonderful 2-day experience. The guides (Boubaker) were incredibly kind and attentive. We visited a small salt flat, explored Tataouine and Chenini (both full of Star Wars inspiration), and headed to the oasis at Ksar Ghilane, where we could bathe in a hot spring (you can also ride a camel or a 4x4 – optional extras). We enjoyed local music, traditional singing, and even watched how Berber bread is made. Everything was very interesting. The desert tent was surprisingly comfortable and had electricity. The oasis is quite large. On the second day, we visited Lars Homestead (Star Wars film set) and also stopped in Toujane. I really enjoyed everything – all meals were included, and the atmosphere was lovely. The guides were fantastic. The only thing is the desert area was more crowded than I expected, but I still highly recommend the experience.

5.00Amazing experience with bereber people and with our guide Bubaka and with Walid, the best driver. They made us feel at home all the time. The desert is an unique experience. Thanks from Bilbao!!
