We went to the dive spots and then the boat broke down. After 1 hour of waiting got onto another boat which took us to a tourist trap restaurant. We left our guide Ozzy stranded at sea, I hope he is ok… Spent 15 mins at each dive spot but 1+ hour at lunch. I didn’t like the tour guides allowing kids to touch the turtles while they took photos. Overall an interesting day with some good snorkelling, but would not do it again
Well organized this matched the description of the three sports turtles, statues and coral.

When we arrived at the meeting point we were instructed to, we were met with confusion as they didn’t know we were coming. After a 30 min wait, someone came to get us from a different company and walked us down to a boat. We were given dirty and sandy snorkeling equipment and my daughter was forced to use flippers that were too small and hurting her feet. We were packed on a boat like sardines and it was difficult to put on our flippers. I asked for a life jacket and was provided a broken jacket so they tied it on me. When I asked for a different one they told me they were all broken, however I saw other people with jackets that were not broken. The snorkel masks my daughter was given didn’t seal to her face so she had to stay on the boat most of the time and I had to stay with her. The roof of the boat is low and I hit my head very hard. It was overall just a terrible experience. It was better snorkeling on our own

We loved this snorkelling experience! We chose to book the private tour which was a bit more money but I think worth it after reading the other reviews on here. The crew picked my partner and I up right in front of our hotel in a small boat (we were staying by the beach in Gili Air), then we spent about 3 hours out on the water. We were driven to 5 different locations and saw underwater statues, 4 turtles, and an amazing array of colourful fish. The different locations had different types of marine life. While I might have liked a little more instruction on how to use the snorkel properly (I’m a newbie to it), I had mastered it by the end and was more comfortable snorkelling for extended periods of time. The marine life got very close to us and Raj (our guide) knew exactly where to go to see the fish and turtles. I think we saw a lot more than if we tried to navigate around on our own. I also found doing the private tour good as it was just us, I could imagine if there were a lot of people in the group we might not have got so close to the turtles as we did. Overall an amazing experience, highly recommend!!

40 people on small boat. No room to swim without getting flipper in the face...have to stay in small group area. Heaps of other groups also in water and boats everywhere. Would recommend private tour as you don't get long in the water. Only very small section of bottom of boat is glass so if U not sitting right Infront of 80 cm glass bottom, you won't see anything. Staff friendly...an hour on Gili meno at restaurant and food not great.ost spots only 30-50 meters off shore so could do yourself.
Quieter than Bali. Beautiful beaches and amazing snorkelling

We stayed 5 nights in Kuta Lombok. Quiet different to Kuta Bali. A lot quieter, people lovely. We hired a motorbike and felt very safe riding around the island. The roads were mostly very good. Visitored some beautiful beaches and amazing waterfalls. Hired a private boat to visit 3 gilli islands spectacular snorkelling. Loved our trip here. Stayed in budget accommodation which was still very nice, with a great pool, breakfast included and across road from beach. Less than AUD45 per night for 2 people. Plenty of good restaurants to choice from in central Kuta Lombok.

My wife and I had a wonderful time snorkeling around Gili Meno! Our tour guide was very nice and we had a GoPro video taken of us for a small fee. The video and photos came out wonderful of us swimming with Turtles and around the underwater statues! Thank you for a wonderful time!
