Your adventure begins with an exciting dune buggy ride through the towering desert dunes, where you'll feel the adrenaline rush as you speed up and down. We'll make several stops so you can admire the scenery and take incredible photos. Then, you'll reach a dune perfect for sandboarding: we'll teach you how to glide, and you'll have time to enjoy it at your own pace. Finally, we'll stop at a high, tranquil spot to enjoy an unforgettable sunset, where the sky is tinged with warm colors over the sandy horizon. This is our starting point to walk towards the Huacachina lagoon and board the buggies to tackle this adventure. At this point, travelers buy tickets for the tourist tax of S/ 3.60 soles. From there a 2-hour adventure awaits us in the immense dunes of Huacachina and we will travel through them, like a roller coaster of emotions. We made stops for the Sanboarding boards and finally appreciated the Sunset in the largest desert in southern Peru.

It was one of the best experiences. The agency team helped us coordinate everything from pickup to Return. They gave us a nice sourvenir to use in the desert to cover the sand and gave us a free beer to watch the sunset. The driver was very friendly. On the sandboard side at the start I was a little scared and he helped me launch.

I do think there is anything with a better value for money ratio. I do not know if other trips are equally exciting or not, but once in Peru this is a "must do". I took the skiing option and it was fun. But even if you take the body boarding, it is still amazing.

This tour was amazing! So worth the money and the people who run the tour company are so helpful and amazing. Diego specifically was incredible with helping us organise, and had lots of helpful advice for which tour we wanted. Thank you so much!!!

The driver Marco gave us an unforgettable experience, the next day we went with the same agency to the canyon of the lost and excellent also, the guide Toribio possesses a lot of knowledge, kindness and excellent customer Service. Very good ride Miguel took care of us. We had missed our bus to arrive from lima to huacachina but they rescheduled at the last moment our tour.later I recommend it without problem The view is breathtaking, the buggy in the sand top. I thought sunboarding would suck but it was too good and the kids loved it

You have to experience this trip! It was easy to book for our family of 4 with 2 teens. Ica discovery Tours arranged pickup at our hotel, was very organized, and our dune buggy tour driver Armando was the best! We sandboarded 4 times and were all thrilled by the ride over the dunes in the buggy. Views are spectacular and we were taken to several different lookout points. Sunset was amazing and so were the final evening pics of the oasis. Loved every minute!

Dune buggy ride and sandboarding/skiing was amazing!! So much fun and the views were epic. Only complaints would be that we only went down dunes 3 times and spent a while riding in the buggy (Fun in its own sense). It was also not clear that the only thing included was a sand sled and once we arrived we had to pay extra if we wanted a snowboard or skiis to use. Well worth the extra money and the owner included a taxi back to our hostel which quickly helped dissolve any annoyance.
