Yellowstone National Park
On March 1, 1872, Yellowstone became the first national park for all to enjoy the unique hydrothermal and geologic features. We'll be exploring the Lower Loop of Yellowstone National Park on your tour! You will get to experience a little of everything that makes Yellowstone National Park so famous: wildlife, geysers (including Old Faithful), waterfalls, and unforgettable scenery. Opportunities to observe wildlife in an intact ecosystem, explore geothermal areas that contain about half the world’s active geysers, and view geologic wonders like the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River.
Old Faithful
The most famous geyser in the world, Old Faithful geyser was named for its frequent and somewhat predictable eruptions, which number more than a million since Yellowstone became the world’s first national park in 1872. Our guide Ted was very knowledgeable about the history of the park, the wildlife and the hydrothermal features. Since we went in early May, we had to go in the West Yellowstone gate which made for a longer time in the van, but the scenery was beautiful and the van was comfortable. It’s a great way to see some of Yellowstone’s popular attractions and learn how they came to be. Wildlife sightings are an added bonus.

The tour was amazing and extremely well-coordinated. Our guide Kelsey from BrushBuck tours was extremely punctual, knowledgeable and a perfect guide. She connected well with everyone on the tour and was of utmost help in planning and executing the trip. She perfected getting to famous attractions on time and overall hospitality during the trip. Really enjoyed the experience and the knowledge about the GTNP & YNP on the tour. Shout out to Kelsey for being an awesome guide and helped me & others get an enriched experience. Worth every penny spent!!!

Very nice day in Yellowstone. We left Jackson at 6 a.m. and as the southern entrance to the park was still closed at the beginning of May, we passed through Idaho and Montana to the west. The round trip was a bit long, but once there we were able to enjoy the most spectacular places in the park. Ted was an exceptional guide and the pictures of animals he took are superb. We have seen bison, elk and even bears.

I really wanted to rate higher because overall experience of what I saw was amazing. But the travel expectations were way below expectations. Our two and half hour trip to Yellowstone was as expected. But when we headed back around 3 pm and were told we had a four hour trip back, I was shocked. I was fine with a 12-13 hour day seeing the park. I would not have booked trip if I’d known the travel time back was four hours. I think this should be listed somewhere as I think other people on trip were similarly shocked and not happy.

It’s a long day, but absolutely worth it. You see things you may not see in your own. Wildlife, scenic sights and short or longer hikes. Lovely lunch & chance to make friends. Treasures of a lifetime.

Our day out in Yellowstone was my favorite part of our trip to Jackson! The day was long but well worth the money! I particularly enjoyed picnic by the water, and the opportunity to see the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Our guide, Phil, was knowledgeable and entertaining, and he was always down to snap a great photo opportunity for us! I would highly recommend this excursion with Brushbuck Tours!

Phil, our tour guide, is aboslutely the reason to go on this adventure. The level of knowledge, service, professionalism and warmth made the tour incredibly enjoyable. I know so much about yellowstone and the neighbouring areas now. He is invested in you having the best experience, even if that means making you laugh.
