Spend the day very actively and enjoy the trip from Krakow to the Morskie Oko lake. While about 2 hours of walking each way, you will experience the outstanding beauty of the nature in the polish Tatra mountains.
Morskie Oko literally means The Eye of the Sea. It is a lake that was formed from glaciers and is situated right next to the mountains what makes the view even more magnificient. The water filled the empty space that was made because of stones. Now it is home for many animals and a place for people to explore, what also benefits their health.
In Zakopane, take a trip up the mountain Gubalowka - cable car and spend the time at Krupowki street, the most popular one in the town.
This journey will take 2 hours to drive each way depending on traffic. The driver may be up to 15 minutes late depending on agreed meeting location and time. It takes about 2 hours of walking to get to the Morskie Oko and another 2 hours to get back. Please wear warm and comfortable clothing.

You will get picked-up from your location in Krakow. The journey to the mountains takes about 2 hours. Then you will spend the time in a very active way as you will be walking to Morskie Oko for 2 hours from the point. It is a walk full of beautiful views sorrounded by trees. In Zakopane is famous for its characteristic, local culture connected with the life of highlanders in Podhale region. It is also the skiing capital of Poland.

5.00What a great trip to Morskie Oko lake, Zakopane and a cheese/vodka tasting. Our guide was super helpful and friendly. Picked us up on time, every time. Helped us with instructions for entering parks and riding trams. One suggestion - if you are planning on hiking to Morskie Oko Lakr in the winter (which is amazing!!) bring or buy crampons/shoe spikes. They do sell them at the park. I bought them at the first hut stop when I realized I was going to need them. It is a long uphill hike but worth it.

5.00A memorable day trip. The walk to Morskie Oko was straightforward, with beautiful scenery the entire way. It was very pleasant to spend time on Krupowski Street in Zakopane. The oscypek (smoked cheese) tasting was also one of the highlights of my day. Oskar was a great driver/guide. He was friendly and communicated clearly about what to expect at each point. I greatly appreciated his professionalism and positive attitude, which made the tour especially smooth and enjoyable.

5.00Oskar was a fantastic guide throughout the whole day and made us feel at ease from the start. We had ample amount of time to visit Morskie Oko and take in the beautiful surroundings, we even met some friendly deer on the way. The view from Gubalowke was nice even with the bad weather. The cheese and Vodka tasting was a nice treat to end a great trip. A highly recommended tour and we will be sharing it with our friends and family. Thank you again Oskar!! 😃

3.00We found this company on TripAdvisor and book a day tour to Moskie Oko and Zakopane. Booking online and communication with the staff via WhatsApp was easy and hassle-free. Moskie Oko is a beautiful national park, we unsure about Zakopane as we did not have much time to tour Zakopane except having our late lunch. The main reason we rate this tour as 3-star is primarily due to bad weather (rainy day) which make the hiking at Moskie Oko less than pleasant due to rain. Worse still, all the snow-capped mountains were shrouded in thick clouds and mist which we did not see the best views of Moskie Oko. Also, the funicular to the mountain top for Tatra Mountains at Zakopane was closed due to rainy weather too. The tour guide/ driver was only doing his basic duty to send us to the destinations. Having said that, he was friendly, polite and chatty, but don’t expect any extra mile service from him, such as making alternative plans so that we could enjoy the tour a bit more despite the rainy weather. We completely understand weather’s condition is beyond the tour company’s control. But we urge other traveller to double check Moskie Oko’s weather before making booking for this tour to avoid disappointment we had since the best view of this place is very much dependent on the weather. That said, the hiking and forest bathing at Moskie Oko was very nice with fresh air despite the rainy day. We saw some wild animals like deers and marmots along the hiking trails.

5.00Jacob was a great driver and gave us lots of tips along the way. We walked the whole way but I’d I did it again I would probably use the electric bus, and then spend more time hiking at the top once we got there! Beautiful sights!

5.00There were four of us for dinner – just great! The food was incredibly delicious. We had wild boar with mushrooms, veal and ribs. Especially the wild boar and the ribs were a dream – super aromatic, tender and just melted on the tongue. A huge thank you to our waiter Artyom – he made the evening truly unforgettable. Great Service and really good atmosphere! Highly recommended!
