From Kraków: Morskie Oko in The Tatra Mountains

Spend the day very actively and enjoy the trip from Krakow to the Morskie Oko lake. While about 2 hours of walking each way, you will experience the outstanding beauty of the nature in the polish Tatra mountains.
Morskie Oko literally means The Eye of the Sea. It is a lake that was formed from glaciers and is situated right next to the mountains what makes the view even more magnificient. The water filled the empty space that was made because of stones. Now it is home for many animals and a place for people to explore, what also benefits their health. It is always a beautiful experience to gain, no matter the season.
This journey will take 2 hours to drive each way depending on traffic. The driver may be up to 15 minutes late depending on agreed meeting location and time. It takes about 2 hours of walking to get to the Morskie Oko and another 2 hours to get back. Please wear warm and comfortable clothing.

You will get picked-up from your location in Krakow. The journey to the mountains takes about 2 hours. Then you will spend the time in a very active way as you will be walking to Morskie Oko for 2 hours from the point. It is a walk full of beautiful views sorrounded by trees.

5.00Had an absolute blast visiting the stunning Morskie Oko lake after a scenic hike through the tatra mountains. The host of the tour, Michal, was very friendly, talkative and helpful with answering any queries regarding the trip. This, along with the amazing scenery, made it a truly unforgettable experience.

5.00We we're glad that we started our tour earlier and avoided the traffic in Krakow. Jacob was a great guide, we had a very comfortable ride and interesting conversations with him. The hike itself was absolutely beautiful, lovely landscape despite the not so good weather conditions. We stayed in touch with Jacob so that there was no waiting time after the hike, brilliant timing and a great ride back to Krakow again! :)

5.00What an amazing visit to Poland and the mountains! Stunning views and a lovely way to end our trip. We got picked up by our driver Jacob who was very polite and friendly and spoke great English. The drive was comfortable and we kept in contact. Definitely a must do on your visit. The mountains are stunning.

5.00We had an amazing time in the mountain while hiking to the lake. Our driver Jacob was very nice, always making sure we had everything we need and all the informations. It was supposed to be a shared tour but it was just my daughter and I, which was good. Jacob even made some stops so I could take pictures. It was beautiful up there and worth the walk.

5.00This was a fab trip and the hike was awesome. Jacob our driver was very helpful, polite and informative. I met another solo traveller on this trip who hadn't tasted the famous cheese, Jacob made sure to find a stop where we could get some. Most appreciated 👏 the hike was long but worth it. There are horse and carts that will take you up or down 70zlt each way.
