  Great whale watch. Waters could be choppy so if you don’t want to get wet, sit in the enclosed area, but we did not mind sitting at the front of the boat out there and getting saltwater splashed every now and then awesome trip.

  Seeing whales fighting for dominance was very rare experience. Captain and crew were very experienced and we got so many details about whales and their behaviour.

  Trip started llate. Extremely long wal from check in and Boss Frogs to boat. Captain of boat had trouble maneuvering. Not many whales (not tour’s fault. Wrong time of year). Wouldn’t recommend this boat.

• Nice job finding whales early in the season; long walk to boat.

  We had a very good tour. It was early in the season, and there were not a lot of whales around yet, but the skipper did a nice job finding us three groups to watch. The last group, at the very end of the trip, because surface active with several breaches -- which was great fun for us, but made us late returning. The crew was very attentive in delivering drinks. They earned their tips. One head was out, which was a negative. The main negative was that check-in was originally at the store, and then changed to the boat. We would have parked at the marine, and saved a lot of walking if we had known we would check in at the boat. It's a very long walk from the store to the boat, and that would make this trip inappropriate for people with walking limits. They should offer a golf cart ride out to the boat.

  Smaller catamaran that was packed to the maximum. Only so many people could be accommodated in the front where the best viewing was available. Still we were able to see a couple of whales spouting in the distance. You may want to consider a bigger or double deck boat.

  We have purchased tickets from you guys in the past for wheel tours and other tours here in Maui and this is the worst we’ve ever had. We purchased Quicksilver tour and ended up on another boat called Malolo this is what we purchased. When we got on the boat, the captain went over boat, safety rules, and this was a catamaran that had nets on the port and Stern side. He stated that no one should be standing on the net. You could only sit or lay on the net with a maximum of three people at one time. After we got on our way, there was five people on the net and two of them upfront decided to stand up almost the whole tour. Neither kept the captain, nor the crew said anything about it almost through the whole tour. Also, there was another couple in front of the boat standing up where no one behind either one of the couples could see, and they were several of us there was unable to see anything in the front of the boat. There was two wheels that we all missed other than the two couples that was standing in the front of the boat. There was some request from the audience about sitting down which they ignored. The captain again still never said anything, nor did the crew that there was time when the crew members walked up there right next to him and still never said anything about sitting down. My wife finally asked one of the crew members to talk to the captain to get them to sit down so everybody else could have an opportunity to see the whales if there was any. The captain did come over the speaker. He asked them to please be courteous and sit down, which they did for about three minutes and then they got back up and nothing else was ever said from the captain or the crew about them sitting down. Very frustrating with many people on the boat that was behind them. Some of us made loud comments about sitting down and they ignored that also. As we’re going back to the dock, the one couple on the net decided to do poses and pictures of themselves, and it was very prerogative, and the views were not the best for the kids on board. Again, they did not care this went on for a good solid 5+ minutes between the male and the female with all different types of poses, Again, no one said anything to them. Problem number two – I went to get a Coke twice while on the boat and each time I had to wait up about five minutes for the crew member to wait on me. There was myself and another person there waiting to get a Coke and the crew member was socializing standing next to us versus serving us as they announced for us to come to the galley to get a drink. We waited and waited and waited for someone to help us while the crew members continued to socialize. We had to ask them to get a drink for us in order for them to service and we were standing right there by the bar where that they were serving. We’ve been coming to Maui for years and we’ve taken many boat tours. This was the absolute worst that we have ever had. This is the first negative comment/review that we’ve given any of the boat captains. This is not the standard of Quicksilver however this was not the quicksilver boat. But that is what we purchased from you. I expect a full return of our money on this tour. We have bought other tours from you and nothing was like this and if you look at her record, we’ve never complained or had any negative reviews on any of the boats. They have always been positive. Again, I would expect a full refund from this tour.
