  We had an amazing tour of the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. Tommy, our driving expertly maneuvered the Mercedes van on the coastal roads while giving us the history. Our stop along the way to taste lemons and purchase lemon cookies and candy while taking pictures of the beautiful town of Positano, was great. We really enjoyed Amalfi where the shopping and pizza at a little cafe was wonderful. Our final stop in Pompeii was all we hoped for as we really wanted to see this historic area. Our guide Claudia was funny while being informative. She explained things to us that we wouldn’t have known about it we visited on our own. Pick up was a little delayed due to picking up people from other cruise ships but we saw everything and made it back to our ship in plenty of time. Overall, I highly recommend this excursion.

  Giuseppe aka Pepè was fantastico! If I knew what I know now, I would’ve booked the Sorrento/Amalfi tour separately from Pompeii though. We were a half hour late to our Pompeii tour and it was a very long day and the tour of Pompeii only covered a fraction of the park in record time - so fast that we didn’t get to use the restroom upon arrival. We just jumped right into it. Great but maybe bake in extra time for traffic from Amalfi or reverse the trip. But again? Giuseppe was a great driver who offered lots of insight and even gave us tips for our trip to Florence next week.

• Good tour but we had some issues

  We did this tour yesterday and it was a good tour, we had a great driver and a great tour guide, but unfortunately we lost a half hour at the beginning of the trip because the meeting point was not clear (perhaps include a map highlighting a specific meeting point for those that have trouble with written instructions). Second, we had a number of mobility challenged members in our group. I don't think its clear how much getting on and off the bus there is and how difficult Pompeii is for those with mobility issues. Great they were able to do it, but we spent a considerable amount of time stopping and waiting. Between the delay in the morning and the delays waiting for others, our time in Pompeii ended up being cut in half. Amalfi was way better than we expected, but rushing through Pompeii and all of the time spent waiting left us feeling disappointed. Still a great tour and even better if you're lucky enough to not have these issues.

  Amazing day very well organised from pick up to drop off…. The journey was full of informative facts from our guide marco and a pleasant drive by vittorio. The stops were perfect for a break and to view the attractions. The limoncello factory was set in an idyllic location and the drinks were gorgeous. Amalfi was busy but what an experience food drink and lemon sorbet were timed perfectly before moving on to Pompeii, where our guide Ines was funny but professional and gave us an insight into the life of the inhabitants of Pompeii. Thank you for the best day never to be forgotten

  Our driver and tour guide in Pompeii we're very informative and funny. It was a very enjoyable trip. Unfortunately the lunch was not the best. Our tour guide in Pompeii was an archaeologist and had worked digging on the site for many years before becoming a tour guide.
