Travel in comfort aboard an air-conditioned bus and follow a licensed archaeology guide through one of the world’s most remarkable archaeological sites.
Explore the ancient Roman streets and uncover the secrets of Pompeii as you visit villas, temples, bathhouses, markets, and the iconic Forum. Witness the moving plaster casts of the victims of the 79 AD eruption, a poignant reminder of the city’s tragic history. The guided tour inside the ruins lasts approximately 2 hours.
Before entering Pompeii, enjoy a stop at a traditional cameo workshop, where skilled artisans demonstrate the intricate craft of carving precious shells by hand. This is also a convenient opportunity to use restroom facilities before exploring the ruins.
Please note: Tours in your selected language are guaranteed with a minimum of 6 participants. If the minimum is not met, an English tour or audio guide will be offered, depending on availability.

Pick up in Naples. We pick up customers at various points in the city center. The confirmation of the pickup time and location will be sent by email. The driver and the tour leader will hold a banner with the tour name and a list of participants. We recommend arriving 10 minutes before the meeting time. On board your bus, enjoy a stress-free journey. Our vehicles are equipped with air conditioning and free bottles of water available upon request. On board, our staff will provide a brief introduction to the city of Naples and the surrounding landscape during the journey, before you meet your guide in Pompeii.

4.00The tour did not start out very well. We were not able to find our tour guide and during communications with via tour. They kept telling us that they were at the cruise port, but they weren’t finally someone in our group was able to connect with the actual tour operator and he was a mile away at a different cruise port couldn’t come and get us so we had to walk there. Fortunately, they did wait for us. It took us nearly an hour to get to Pompeii once we got to Pompeii. The tour guide was wonderful took us back still would not take us to our cruise port. Come to find out he thought we were at a different port, even though we gave him the name of our ship when it was coming in and so it was just very confusing and very frustrating

5.00Amazing experience on site!! Pick-up and travel logistics were a little messy but Tomaso was a superb guide. Incredibly knowledgeable and sensitive to needs of the group. Could have listened to him all day!

5.00A fascinating trip to Pompeii. Paola was our guide on the bus and informed us of the history and what to expect on the way to Pompeii. She kept everything moving and well organised. The tour of the site was fascinating. Really important to have a guide to explain what you are seeing. We could easily have spent more time exploring.
