This premium small-group day trip from Prague combines three of the most impressive sights of Bohemia in one perfectly balanced day: the royal Karlštejn Castle, the largest cave system in Bohemia and the dramatic Velká Amerika limestone quarry.
At the Koněprusy Caves you enjoy a private guided tour reserved only for your group, exploring vast underground halls and unique stalactite formations without crowds.
You then visit the 14th-century Karlštejn Castle, founded by Emperor Charles IV, with easy access from private parking close to the site and a guided tour of its historic interiors.
A full traditional Czech lunch is included, as well as hotel pickup, comfortable minivan transport and stunning views over the flooded Velká Amerika canyon before returning to Prague.

5.00I feel terrible.I don't remember our guide's name, im terrible with names, but he was wonderful. Fun, animated, and knowledgeable. The ride was comfortable and we saw so much cou trying. The Castle tour was really neat. Highly recommend!

5.00All day trip but Pacel made it effortless: from communicating time for hotel pickup to every stop along the way, details such as explain the lunch menu to everyone! What a gentleman! I generally feel tour guides in Prague are of higher quality but Pavel elevated it to a new level!

5.00Very good meal and snacks during the journey. The castle was pretty, Joseph is very knowledgeable in both the castle and the caves along with any questions you have in mind. Just a note in general is that not the whole castle is open during winter months (the whole thing opens in April), so limited on what you could see. The caves were super cool, he has a good background in geology to explain the rock formations! We saw some bats too which was cool. The length was nice we started at about 8:30 and got back at our hotels by 4:20. Nice size groups for this experience. To note for the castle our group (5) and three others toured the castle so you could hear everything clearly and look around without too many people. Would totally recommend Joseph for this tour!

5.00Our tour guide, Martin, was excellent and very knowledgeable about the history in the area and about the caves and decorations within them. It was a great experience and opportunity to see a bit of the countryside. Very beautiful!
Cool castle lots of stairs

5.00Nice tour but anyone who has problems with stairs should reconsider. There were so many stairs that were at different widths that it was very hard on my knees. My husband figured it was over 400 stair steps. One spiral staircase was 86 steps high in the caves. Joseph was a wonderful guide was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to be with. The trip was very nice and we enjoyed ourselves and the company we were with. Our lunch was great.

5.00My family, group of 9, absolutely loved this tour. They communicated our pickup location clearly, as our apartment was down a narrow alley. We had plenty of time to explore the castle after the tour was over and lunch was phenomenal. The cave tour was very interesting, though we only saw 1 bat. We learned a lot about the history of the area and were in awe of the age of some of the bones found in the cave. Our guides were great and knowledgeable and I highly recommend this tour. As a travel agent, I will be including this tour as an option for future clients!
