We took a tour with Walter, who was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area. One of our favorite stops was Tarafal. Throughout the day, he shared excellent restaurant recommendations and made thoughtful stops at small roadside stands to introduce us to fruits native to the region, along with many other local insights. The tour was exceptionally thorough and well paced. Exploring the island this way allowed us to see so much in a very short amount of time, and it truly felt like the best possible introduction to the area. I would absolutely do this tour again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting.
Very nice and interesting excursion, where you learned a lot about the island of Santiago as well as about land and people.

Very nice and interesting excursion with the guide "magic" Orlando, where you learned a lot about the island of Santiago as well as about the land and people of Cabo Verde. We also received helpful tips on sights and restaurants for our city tour in Praia, which was conducted independently after the day trip. Overall it was a really great day!!!

It was an amazing experience, the guide Ivana helped me to understand and appreciate the historical facts and importance of heritage sites, The time given at Fortress, Pillory, Ruins of Cathedral and quick round in the Plateau area was quite satisfactory. It was drizzling that added to the charm of the tour.

Our guide and the driver walked us well in an island very rich in contrasts....Intelligent, interesting and informal comments and funny anecdotes about the history of Cape Verde.The bus stops allow beautiful photos on beautiful views. Assomada and its market, Tarrafal and its beaches.. we stopped to eat coconuts cut in front of us..In short a day that leaves beautiful images in the head.Thanks to our guide really.👍👍🏝

We made this trip as part of a cruise. Communication in advance was good, the meeting place easy to find. The trip was as described and the most important: He was fantastic. With Antonio we had a wonderful tour guide. We can only recommend everyone to book this excursion with this provider.

Definitely worth doing this tour if you’re not going to explore Santiago on your own. It’s a beautiful place. Our guide Alex was great. Smart, fun and very knowledgeable, he gave us a great introduction to the history and culture of Santiago and Cape Verde overall.
