The trip involves quite long journeys but the mini van we travelled in was very comfortable. Our guy Janus was brilliant and used the travel time to inform us of lots of interesting facts about Latvia and the general Baltic history Stopped in a lovely town for lunch

Our guide Eriens worked very hard and well to ensure that we all had the best time possible on this trip. He continually reminded us as to what we were doing next, how long to the next toilet or refreshment break etc. so that we could relax from that perspective; pointed out many sights along the way that gave us a good perspective of the countryside and people; was very friendly and his English was faultless. A lovely chap indeed who was determined that we had the best time possible. Well done Eriens - you succeeded!

Erlens was fantastic. One of best tout guides we have had. His knowledge of the Latvian history and culture added so much to the tour. His stories were interesting and helped pass the drive time. At the crosses his background helped set the stage. On the way back to Riga the lunch we had in Jelgava was delicious and reasonable priced. Would highly recommend!
