5.00Martis (spelling?) was an excellent guide/ driver. He was very passionate and knowledgeable about each site we visited. He was personable and translated for us at the smaller stops that didn’t have English speakers. He was filled with history and knowledge of the region, a great tour to do to see hill of crosses and some stops on the way without making it too long of a day. I would recommend to anyone.

5.00All very good pick up easy to find bus and guide waiting at arranged time . Bus comfortable,clean and well driven water available free . Guide very knowledgeable helped by telling tales of his family that put the dry historical stuff into real life . The hill of crosses was a unique place and experience we had plenty of time to look round and spend time in quiet reflection it was quiet and snow covered this made it even more special Lunch was good value and filling church visit short but enough Would highly recommended this tour great value day out to a spiritual place

5.00A very enjoyable trip. Informative tour guide who was very pleasant & shared lots of relevant information & history during the day. We were a small party in size (probably due to time of the year) which made it extra personalised. Jannis took the time to check we were all happy & comfortable whilst travelling.

5.00We booked the tour before we arrived in Latvia, picked up on time next to the museum of occupation. Tour lasts 8 hours but worth every penny, the hill of crosses was amazing, very spiritual and you have plenty of time to walk around and also visit the neighbouring monastery, you can purchase wooden crosses from €4 and you can write a message or name on the cross and choose where you place it on the hill.. there is a lot of walking so probably not wheelchair friendly, we went when it was very deep snow which I think made it all the more memorable, You then head to Jelgava where you stop at a Russian cathedral which was beautiful, you order lunch in the morning and then after the cathedral you walk to a riverside restaurant at about 2.30. Food was very tasty and very good prices, The tour guides are very knowledgeable and funny and really go the extra mile to make the trip what it is .. The tour is worth every penny and highly recommend.

5.00We had a thoroughly enjoyable tour from Riga to the Hill of Crosses, in Lithuania. Our tour guide, Edith (sorry if the spelling is incorrect) was extremely friendly and offered frequent snippets of information/humour throughout our tour without bombarding us with non-stop information. We also had fairly regular stops so it never felt like we were driving for a long time. Outside of the Hill of a Crosses, which was a beautiful sight (especially in the snow), we stopped at a few other sights, including Jelgeva, where we had a lovely (and cheap) lunch. A great experience that allows you to be in two countries in one day, doesn’t cost the earth and doesn’t take literally all day. We would highly recommend. 😊

5.00This was a great tour and quite a fascinating place to go. Crosses made out of a variety of materials including lego. Crossing the boarder was simple and we only stopped to take photos.

5.00Eriens was very knoweldageble and friendly. She shared alot of important about both Latvia and Lithuania as well as life before independence. The tour was fantastic. I’m so glad we did it. Thanks for a fantastic day!
