5.00We had always wanted to see Abbruzzo but we only had one day available. Fabio picked us up at our hotel in Rome. It was a private tour for my wife & myself. During the 2 hour drive, he was a font of information about what we saw along the way & what we were going to see. But nothing could prepare us for the beauty we experienced in Gran Sasso National Park. Each place we stopped had gorgeous views, the most breathtaking of which was Lo Specchio d'Abbruzzo (the mirror of Abbruzzo). Lunch followed at Ristoro Mucciante, where he cooked sausages & Arrosticini for us; absolutely delicious 😋! We then went to the most physically challenging attraction of the day- Rocca Calascio, the highest castle in Italy. Fabio helped my wife to negotiate the steep climb to the top, stopping when we needed to rest. We were rewarded with even more spectacular views. The day concluded at Santo Stefano di Sessino where Fabio told us the fascinating history of this beautiful little town. The ride home was filled with stories & recommendations for things to do & places to eat in Rome. It was a truly the best one day tour we've ever taken.

5.00This was one of the top highlights of our trip to Italy!! My family heritage is from this region which made it that much more special to me!! The scenery was so calming and relaxing - the three stops were experiences that you can’t even put into words and Fabio was the more gracious, knowledgeable host!! A must do when in Italy! See the areas no one sees!!
Absolutely magically. We travel quite a bit and this was hands down the best tour EVER.

5.00Best tour ever ! Abruzzo is a beautiful part of Italy - rugged, authentic, dramatic yet so welcoming. Fabio is so kind and attentive - you leave him feeling like you’ve left a long lost relative. His tour is perfectly organized - great food, history of the region/ Italy, nature and even a short hike surrounded by glorious mountains. My husband and I could not agree on the best part of the day as it was all pure magic. This is a must do. Book it - don’t wait!!!

5.00Just do it ✔️ Book this amazing trip with Fabio 🌞 My boyfriend and I spend a week in Rome. We decided this day trip to Abruzzo was the best choice for a day out of Rome and we didn't regret it! Fabio has a great personality and oh the knowledge 😳 We learned so much and saw all the best places. Beautiful landscapes, small cities and quality tasting food 👌I've spent the last decade on physiotherapy after surgery, so thought it might be to challenging, but great help and patience from Fabio. We had such a great day and would do it all over again if we came back to Rome. Thank you for an amazing day Fabio 🙏😊

5.00Fabio does an amazing tour. My husband and I have traveled throughout Italy for over two weeks and this was our favorite part. The scenery of Abruzzo is beautiful, the lunch was a unique and fun experience, and Fabio has a ton of knowledge which he shares. Highly recommend this booking especially if you want to get into the country side and away from the touristy crowds.

5.00Fabio does a terrific job of showing the highlights of Abruzzo. The scenery is amazing, the lunch wonderful, and Fabio’s knowledge is vast. My husband and I traveled throughout Italy for over two weeks and this was our favorite booking. It was great to get away from the touristy crowds of Venice, Florence, and Rome.

5.00What a breath of fresh air after the crowds and lines of Rome!! Truly a beautiful area with so much to offer - breath taking scenery, authentic dining and historic villages. Fabio was the best - professional, knowledgeable and gracious! He took great care of us and it was really a treat to see this amazing area through the eyes of a guide who knows and loves it so well!
