5.00Amazing scenery and very well organized tour. Our guide, Joshi, was very knowledgeable, passionate about his work and also funny. Bus driver, Mr. Condor, was very attentive and polite. Would definitely recommend this tour.

5.00Harry was an amazing tour guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable of the region and its wildlife. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the trip, with some of the most amazing scenery we have seen in Japan, and we were lucky enough to see a number of snow monkeys along the way. The bus driver was also very accommodating.

5.00had a great time and our tour guide, Harry, was awesome. explained everything so well and pointed out some trees and wildlife along the way. This trip was definitely worth the price and I would do it again if Harry was still our guide haha.
Sleepy town with Delightful Cuisine and centrepiece of UNESCO sites

5.00A good halt to begin a side trip to Shirakawago Gokayama Suginama Unesco heritage villages. A sleepy town with good train connections to Nagoya and surrounding Kanazawa prefecture. Hida Soba Hida Beef Hida souvenirs especially the Sarubobo Dolls Lucky Monkey Babies are memories to take back. Good choice of restaurants for lunch Soba noodles Ramen scattered in small tiny eateries while diners become special with Hida Beef Specialties and Yakiniku or Japanese style serving. Very scanty Bars but unlike other cities the town shuts down by 9 pm. A 2 day trip ideal for tourists wanting to do the Shirakawago Trail. Be aware of the train timings and all bus tours from Takayama are essentially Japanese.

5.00I seldom leave reviews, but this experience with the guide Yoshi-San was unforgettable. The tour is very well organised with a comfortable pace. Our guide and driver made it extra special with stopovers and wealth of information about Hida region and Japanese culture. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who has limited time and want to experience the best of Japanese Alps. Thank you Yoshi-san until next time we meet again.

5.00While the weather didn’t quite cooperate we still made the best of it. On the bright side we ran into a lot of monkeys. Hemi was a great guide giving color and depth to the area and its history. The smaller group size (10) was preferable. Would highly recommend.
