5.00Book this tour and save yourself the hassle of having to navigate all the modes of transport yourself! A friendly guide will take you through the ropeway and Kamikochi, allowing a good amount of time at each and a smooth journey where you can just enjoy yourself. The views at the ropeway are unreal and Kamikochi is stunning.

5.00Well structured tour of Japan’s alpine scenery that exceeded expectations. Our guide Hemii was born in New Zealand and has lived in Takayama for 5 years. He was a fountain of knowledge about the history, geology and biodiversity of the area. He was also attentive to the needs of different members of our group, and structured the program accordingly. All in all - a 5 star experience and good value for money.

5.00For our tour, our guide was very knowledgeable. Took us up the rope way and gave us a history of the area, before taking a walking tour of the tamikochi area. We were the only ones booked for the day so had the guide to ourselves, so we could set the pace of our tour. Highly recommend this company.
