Krka falls and one of Dalmatia cities, it is a great combination to explore our natural and cultural heritage.
The national park Krka is most famous for Skradinski buk waterfall which is part of our walk.
You will enjoy exploring waterfalls and lakes by walking on the wooden footpaths between the trees and travertine barriers.
Then follows a nice boat ride to the small town of Skradin.
After the park we will do a city tour of the city you have chosen. It can be:
Zadar, an astonishing mix of ancient, medieval and modern architecture. "Sea organ" and the "Greeting to the sun" architect installation,
Or Sibenik, a beautiful gem on the Adriatic coast with a gothic and renaissance old town.
Regardless which one you choose, we will walk their narrow stone streets and get to know why they are proud members of the UNESCO family.
(If you prefer, we can instead city visit some winery do a full day Krka)
After some time for lunch, we return to ship/hotel.

The walk in the park is aprox. 2 km. At one point there are about 100 steps down with hand rail. If you have a mobility scooter then it is possible to see just one part of the park. Contact us for details.

Krka National Park
Skradinski buk waterfalls is the most visited part of the park where you will enjoy a nice walk on the wooden footpaths between the falls, lakes and trees. You can also explore the old watermills, traditional crafts, weaver, blacksmith's workshop… After the time in the park you will take a 20 minutes boat ride along the Krka river canyon and get to Skradin.
Skradin
After the walk in the park you will arrive to a picturesque small town of Skradin where you will have a short walk and if you want you can have some free time for a drink or lunch.

5.00We really enjoyed our private tour with Marko. He was very friendly and a great photographer. He also helped us tailor our itinerary to best fit our family needs. We spent the day exploring Krka National Park and then a local beach for some relaxation, water and food. It was a beautiful day and makes me want to go back to explore more of Croatia in the future.

5.00We had a FANTASTIC day with Mirko! He is an outstanding guide, communicator with a passion and devotion to the area. He truly provided a memorable and meaningful day as we toured the falls and Zadar. He also knows a great pizza place along the way. He provides an insight and history to Zadar as his family has lived in the area for generations. We truly enjoyed being with him as we explored and experienced the falls and Zadar.

5.00We loved our day in Zadar, and Krka Falls. We were picked up, on time, in a very nice van, by our really pleasant and knowledgeable. We spent time walking the trails in the magnificent Krka National park. He was very familiar with the area, and got us around traffic and in an impossible parking spot. We requested a waterfront restaurant, and we ended up and an amazing little place that only a local would know. We concluded our tour walking around Zadar, which we really enjoyed. It was an amazing day and I highly recommend going.

5.00Our guide was extraordinary! We had a lot of history and he really knew the park and made great suggestions for lunch and gelato . We travel a lot and he was one of the BEST.

5.00We landed in Zadar on a cruise. Mirko was aware of the time and got us back in plenty of time. The falls were gorgeous, the city tour was awesome and the information shared about Croatia, its history, current events and people was awesome. Would Highly recommend him. The van transport was very comfortable. He also took us to a great place for lunch. Was very accommodating by getting the car so we didn’t have to walk extra in the heat. His English was perfect. Overall, an awesome day in Zadar.
