During this adventure we will hike through glorious Arctic nature and Nordic forests. The massive frozen waterfalls are sure to impress and create extraordinary landscapes for photography. Frozen rivers and rugged gorges pierce the snowy scenery as we hike on the trail to visit the frozen waterfall. We rest around a campfire in the canyon and enjoy the splendid surroundings and gaze up at the mighty frozen waterfalls, which stand out from rugged and pure Arctic wilderness around us.
During the adventure we will stop at a lean-to and build a fire, over which your photography guide will prepare a light lunch for the group. This adventure is your top choice to experience versatile Arctic nature including forests, ice falls, rivers, cliffs and wilderness. 5.00Had such a fun day at the Frozen Waterfalls of Korouoma Canyon! ❄️ Our guide Sarah was awesome—super organized, made sure we were all geared up for the cold, and kept things safe while still relaxed. The walk was beautiful, with plenty of stops for photos (she took some amazing shots too!). Ended the trip with a cozy BBQ—sausages and marshmallows by the fire hit the spot. Definitely a highlight of Finland.

5.00This small group tour is great! The guide who is also our photographer knows where and how to take beautiful unlimited photos for all of us. Besides the stunning frozen waterfalls, this tour provides hot berry juice and BBQ lunch (sausages and buns). You get to BBQ your own food as well in the snowy woods which is another experience!

5.00I think this is one of the most underrated activities in Rovaniemi! The hike is hard, but it's not super challenging! You should join them if you have the time! They did a circuit trip, and the photos taken by our guide are really nice. They will provide snowshoes with spikes for you as well. The view along the hike to see the frozen waterfalls is just jaw-dropping.
