Of course enjoying the flavors here in Colombia allows us all to brush up against a rich and wonderful past and future. We hope our passion will give you a glimpse into a real Colombian experience.

Plaza de Mercado Paloquemao
We'll meet at the "sweetest market on earth" Paloquemao Market. Once in there we'll start tasting different delicacies and start connecting the history and traditions of Colombia with its fruits. Depending on the season of the year, we’ll taste around 25 different fruits. After walking around the market and its sections, we'll end the experience with a fruit juice tasting that goes along with a traditional snack. The privileged geographic position Colombia has due to its proximity to the equator and the Andes crossing the whole country creates the perfect conditions for fruits to develop unique flavors.

5.00The tour was great and entertained both our teenage boys. I didn’t think I would get full eating fruit but was I mistaken. So many different types of fruits. We were also given empanadas, coffee and fruit smoothie.

5.00This tour was fantastic. And it's all because of our guide Val. We spent three hours exploring the fruit market in a small group. We started the tour with coffee (of course!!) We then wandered through the market and tasted about 25 different fruits. Val explained all of them to us. We also had delicious cheesebread and empanadas. Val answered all questions from the group with detail and patience. Highly recommended!!

5.00Viktor's leadership of the market was simply magnificent. We tried so many different fruits and ate and drank a few other things. I discovered and learned an incredible amount of new things. I've done food tours in many cities around the world, which was certainly one of the best tours. Clear recommendation!

5.00Brilliant experience with Victor, who went out of his way to provide a great experience. Tried around 30 fruits, plus arepas, drinks, and much more. Very generous. He even took us to a chocolate shop afterwards going beyond the tour. Thank you!

5.00I highly recommend this tour! It was absolutely fantastic. Victor is very friendly and professional, and he limits the group to a maximum of six participants for a truly in-depth experience at Paloquemao Market. We began with a choice of coffee, hot chocolate, or chucula, followed by sampling delicious pandebono and bocadillo. Then came the best arepas de choclo I’ve ever tasted! The highlight was an incredible fruit tasting. I lost count, but we must have tried around 20 exotic fruits, many of which I had never seen or heard of before. Thank you, Victor, for an unforgettable experience!

Every bite was increíble, bursting with freshness , sweetness and bitterness. What made it even more unforgettable was our fantastic tour guide, Valentina , her passion, knowledge, and enthusiasm made the whole experience engaging and fun. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves fruit and wants a truly memorable adventure!
