The Amalfi Coast can be complicated and time-consuming to visit on your own. Taking a shared minivan or minibus is the simplest and most affordable way to enjoy the sights. This eight/nine-hour trip begins in Sorrento, Naples, Salerno and heads south for the breathtaking drive (lightly narrated by your driver-or narrated by your guide), and an hour or two in each of the three main towns - Positano, Amalfi and Ravello - before returning to Sorrento, Naples, Salerno.

The gem of Amalfi is the oldest of Italy’s maritime republics. Whitewashed homes dotting the hillside are illuminated by the abundant sunshine that bathes the city. The basilica’s cupola is a reference to the Sicilian -Arabic influence that once dominated the area. For centuries it has been a popular destination due to its natural beauty and ideal climate.

5.00Wonderful driver,Fabio! Knowledgeable, professional, personable, and cool under pressure. The Amalfi coast was spectacular and it came alive for us thanks to Fabio. We were treated like family. I recommend the small group tour and hope that you are fortunate enough to meet one of the best drivers on the Amalfi coast.

5.00This was a very fun tour that allowed us to cover a ton of ground in the Amalfi Coast. The roads are otherwise difficult to navigate so our driver did a fantastic job taking us to each point. Our tour guide Micheline was very informative and very entertaining! She made the tour for us. Be aware that you'll only get 1-2 hours per each spot on the tour. This is great if you want to cover a lot of ground, but less so if you want to spend a whole day in each spot. Overall, I'd recommend this tour to other folks who want to see Amalfi.

5.00Mariano was great. On time and informative. His driving was great. Highly recommend him. Trip had lots of driving. And many of the places were mostly shops but the views were wonderful

4.00We had a wonderful experience exploring the Amalfi coast. Our guide, Alfonso, was exceptional and got us to the perfect spots to avoid the crowds. He also made wonderful recommendations for places to eat and took us to an amazing restaurant in Ravello with incredible views. My only call out is that another couple on the tour was over thirty minutes late and it cost us time at some of our stops, perhaps a better policy for late arrivals.

5.00We took a full-day Amalfi Coast minibus tour from Salerno with Mondo Guide during our cruise stop, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Our small group had only 7 people, so instead of a driver and guide, we had only a driver — Fabio. In the end, we couldn’t have asked for better. The Amalfi Coast roads are narrow, winding, and very busy, but Fabio was calm, skilled, professional, and made us feel safe and relaxed throughout the day. We visited Amalfi, Ravello, and Positano. The pacing worked very well for a cruise schedule, and we especially enjoyed Ravello for its beautiful views and more peaceful atmosphere. There was also a small incident with some passengers returning late, but Fabio handled the situation with patience, care, and professionalism, and adjusted the route smoothly. This tour was a wonderful way to experience the Amalfi Coast in one day. We would happily recommend it to other cruise travelers visiting Salerno.

4.00Our guide, Franco, was pretty much of a speed demon dashing through traffic and quite limited in his grasp of the English language! The tour was nice with so much beauty wherever you looked. It was an enjoyable day overall!

5.00Vinny was so fun and knowledgeable. He had the patience of a nun. We had a woman on our excursion who decided she wanted to go rouge and take pictures instead of staying with the group MULTIPLE times which held our group up as he had to find her. I forgot to make my transfer arrangements and he hooked us up. I could kick myself in the butt for forgetting to tip him. If you want the full experience I highly recommend this excursion

3.00It’s a long windy ride between cities and you can get stuck in traffic from locals as well as many other tour groups. You don’t really get much time to appreciate the towns as the driver was always rushing to go to the next stop to try and avoid heavy traffic. My husband got motion sickness because of the windy roads and driving. If you want to visit id suggest picking one town and really appreciating it and not get stuck in a van for 6 hours. Our driver Alfonso was very friendly and helpful he really tried to make it an enjoyable experience.
