Licensed USCG Captain and Crew
All passengers entering the British Virgin Islands are required to pay a $65 customs fee and it must be paid in cash. This is collected upon boarding the boat, so please make sure to remember this. If you are travelling to the British Virgin Islands National Park (The Indians, Caves, The Baths), there is an additional $6/pp charge.
Prices do not include fuel, captain’s gratuity or customs fees if you’re traveling to the British Virgin Islands. Please remember to tip your captains: island-norm is 15-20% of the cost of your boat trip.

5.00Eric and Lauren were awesome hosts they took us to some great snorkeling spots as well as just stopping to dive in and swim. We parked at lime out for lunch and absolutely loved our whole day on the boat. Can't wait to come back again! I rented a few years ago and I do think the boat has a bit of wear and tear since my last visit but it was still a great time.

5.00We did a full day to BVI on their 50' boat and it was an incredible day! The boat had all the amenities for a full day on the water. Our captain and 1st mate were topnotch and helped make the trip even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Sonic Charters!!

5.00This was a beautiful day on an beautiful boat. The two staff on board, Hayden and Becky were amazing, helping with snacks, drinks, water information, pointing out sea-life and overall just great people to be on the boat with.

5.00We had the best day with Captain Nate and the crew gal I think her name was Beth from Minnesota (sorry if that is t her correct name but she was awesome!) Both just were so friendly and professional and made our day incredible. The Searay is a great, comfortable, immaculate clean and safe boat. We had 4 Adults and a teenager and 7 year old. We went to the Baths in Virgin Gorda and a stop at Peter Island. This was a bologna of our vacation.

5.00A boat is a boat is a boat..right? No, a boat charter is what the captain and crew make it to be. Yes, the Sundancer is very comfortable, spacious, clean, and has all the accommodations, but the crew is what makes it special. From the welcoming at the dock, to the return at the end of the day, their friendliness and attention to detail by the captain and the crew was incredible. The bar was well stocked, and the fruit punch was top notch. You can do a day charter with a large group of strangers for much more less $$ but the experience and memories will not be the same. In those you get inconvenienced by the crowd, got to watch your stuff, you get pushed and kicked, need to make a line to snack, eat and drink. Not with a private charter like this. Their knowledge of the are was palpable by their recommendations on where to go and what we would see on those areas. I highly recommend this crew and company. Their communication to us before, during and after the charter was on point, precise and friendly. The surpassed all expectations.

5.00Our day with Sonic Charters on the 50' Luxury Sea Ray was AMAZING! We had 12 people along, and everyone enjoyed the cruise to Virgin Gorda (Baths) and Yost Van Dyke, home of the Soggy Dollar beach bar. Captain Eric and First Mate Becky were very attentive and catered to all of our needs. I would highly recommend them for anyone considering to charter a boat while in St Thomas!

5.00Can’t say enough about Sonic Charters and the crew! Great day on the water visiting the BVI with our mixed age group of 8 people. Gus & Amanda really go out of their way to keep the guests happy and picked out a perfect itinerary for the day. Beautiful, comfortable boat stocked with everything you could want. From initial booking to post-trip, Sonic Charters is the best! Thanks again!
Eric and Sally were fantastic. Drinks and snacks and snorkeling. Played our own music on the Boat speakers. Fun day!

5.00We had an amazing day with Jake and Becky. It was a very expensive day but worth every penny. The visa costs were way higher than estimated. The fuel costs were maxed out but we went to a lot of places so I expected that. The boat was very nice and like I said Jake and Becky were awesome all day. One thing I was disappointed with was the pictures that shows downstairs and I naturally assumed we were renting the entire boat. That was not the case at all. The only area we had access to downstairs was the toilet. I think they should remove those pictures and clearly state no access to lower deck. For first time renters its always a good idea with any company to send them pics of the boat you believe you are renting and have them verify it. You don’t want to show up and find out you actually rented a different boat. I recommend this group. They treated us well and we had an awesome time. Just clarify what you have access to on the boat you rent.
