Sukhothai Historical Park
Pick up time: 08.15 am at your hotel in Sukhothai new city and old city by covered pickup truck, Car or Tuk Tuk. Highlight Villages, Rice fields, Teak wood furniture factory, Wat Chang Lom, Wat Si Chum, Sukhothai Kiln, Wat Mahathat, Wat Si Sawai, Wat Sa Si, King Monument and Wat Chetuphon and some others temples. Itinerary: We will collect you from your hotel in the morning. The cycling tour starts from a small village on Sukhothai's outskirts known as Ban Kluai, We take a dirt road passing though endless rice paddies with beautiful views of the Kao Laung mountain range in Ramkhamhang National Park. Visiting the local teak wood furniture factory, we will continue our journey along small irrigation canals (Klong Mae Lampan) passing through rural villages. Arriving at the Eastern Gate we will explore some of Sukhothai's famous ancient ruins. You will marvel at beautiful Buddhist and Hindu architecture and be exposed to some of the country's most stunning craftmanship from a period known as Thailand's Golden Era . The tour offers the visitor a guided cultural experience, learning about Sukhothai's history and complex architecture as well as the story of Buddhism in Thailand. After a delicious local lunch our tour will continue to the south direction to visit the pottery street art, than arrive at Wat Chetuphon explore this beautiful ruins and our trip will continue before arriving back at the hotel around 16:00 p.m. FACTS Distance: Total cycling distance is about 30 - 35 km (some unsealed roads) Fitness Level: Suitable for participants in good fitness condition.

5.00The historical bike tour of Sukhothai was one of the highlights of our trip in Thailand. Miaow is an incredible storyteller and the ancient temples and landscapes are fantastic. 100% recommend.

5.00We loved pedalling through the countryside, meeting the locals (including Jib’s own family!) and experiencing everyday life in rural Thailand. The people we met were adorable. Jib taught us a lot about local traditions, monk life and the community around Sukhothai — it was exciting, and he patiently answered all our questions. He also took us to lunch in a small family restaurant, where the food was absolutely delicious. We ended the day at the historical site of Sukhothai. The temples and ruins were beautiful, and thanks to Jib’s explanations, everything came alive before our eyes. In addition, it was the first day of the Loi Kratong festival and we had the chance to see the site completely lit up in the evening and launch our Kratong on the water. To sum up, it was a great day. The course was easy and flat. We even saved a turtle from the wheels of cars! Jib’s passion for his country and for people is felt at every moment. We highly recommend this tour - everything was great and Jib is an invested and exciting guide.

5.00We had such a great time on our bike tour with Jib ! We were a family of six, and Jib was incredibly thoughtful and caring with all of us. He went out of his way to make sure everyone felt comfortable. The day started with a beautiful ride through the countryside, where we met local people (including Jib’s own family !) and got a real sense of life in rural Thailand. Jib shared so many interesting stories about local traditions, daily life, and how monks live — it was fascinating. He also took us to a small family restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious ! We finished at the Sukhothai Historical Park, which was simply stunning. Jib’s explanations really brought the ancient temples and ruins to life. Overall, it was an amazing mix of culture, history, and authentic local experiences. Jib’s kindness, knowledge, and genuine care made the day unforgettable. We can’t recommend this tour enough — it’s a must-do in Sukhothai !

5.00This tour has been one of the highlights of our time in Thailand to date, so can definitely recommend it as the perfect way to explore the best sights of Sukhothai while supporting a local family run business. Our guide, Miaow, was fantastic and had a wealth of knowledge on Sukhothai and Thailand, both past and present. The bikes and helmets were in excellent condition and they cater for all abilities and ages (our 6 year old had a blast riding on a trailer bike behind her Dad). Exploring the Sukhothai Historical Park together with riding through local villages and paddy / agricultural fields and recharging with plentiful snacks and cold drinks and a scrumptious lunch and refreshing smoothie at a local restaurant (all included in the price) make this a great day out.

5.00Super interesting bike ride with meow, great guide. She told us a lot about country and people and their culture, perfect English. Really highly recommended and a great family business what to support!!! She also provided us with the bikes for another day and gave us some good tips for the next day. 👍

5.00Our guide Miaow was the best. As a true local working for a local company she knows everything there is to know and her English is really good. Because of her English skills you can actually have a conversation with her, which we loved. Great tour, great sights, great food. Everything's perfect!

5.00This was the best tour of my life. Sukhotai's ancient city is filled with magic and mystery. Our tour guide - Miaugh (not sure if this is the correct spelling) is the best guide in the world. She is very knowledgeable and we didn't want her to stop talking because her manner of telling the stories is unique and very soothing. If you're coming to Sukhotai this tour is a MUST! 100/10

5.00This tour was the best!! Chip and Kob took us out to their old neighborhood in wich they grew up in. We’ve seen the most beautiful scenery’s met the most incredibly lovely people and ate the best food!! The Sukhothai Historical Park was absolutely amazing and the stories that came with it, told by Chip, were wonderful. We are literally speechless and feel very blessed to have had this experience that we will never forget 🙌🏼

5.00I use Tripadvisor to book activities on vacation frequently, but I don't usually write detailed reviews. I feel compelled to now because this was an absolutely incredible experience. Biking was such a great way to explore the area, and the terrain is very flat and not too strenuous to move through. It felt like such a wonderful change of pace coming from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok to explore the beautiful back roads of rural Thailand. The historical park was exactly as amazing as expected, and the restaurant where we stopped for lunch had fantastic food. It felt like the definitive Sukhothai experience, exactly what I was hoping for. But the best part of that experience was with Jib and Miow. Locals in the area, they were responsive, informative, helpful, kind, fun and passionate about sharing their love for their history and culture and community. I was the only one who signed up for the day, but rather than cancel, I was given the tour one-on-one. After the tour concluded, they even helped me plan out the rest of my stay. I felt like a VIP from the beginning to the end. I truly could not have asked for a better experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Thailand.
