You’ll stand above the ocean on a glass viewpoint & explore a dramatic, windswept peninsula. Plus, we’ll surprise you with a few hidden gems off the beaten path.

The tour lasts between 6,5 to 8 hours. We don't watch the clock, we follow the magic, we go at your pace.

Pico do Arieiro

Our first stop is Pico do Arieiro, standing proud at 1,818 meters. As we wind our way up, you’ll feel the excitement building—once at the top, the views are nothing short of spectacular! Take in the sweeping panoramas, snap some photos, and breathe in the fresh mountain air.

Ribeiro Frio

We’ll descend into the tiny, picturesque village of Ribeiro Frio. Here, you can stretch your legs with a leisurely levada walk through a Laurissilva forest. This lush, green paradise is home to a variety of birdlife, so keep your eyes peeled for the friendly firecrest and the colourful chaffinch—they’re often hanging about.

    Fantastic day out on this private tour. Quiet,smooth, eco-friendly ride. Roberto is very knowledgeable about both Madeira and it's flora and fauna. We were taken to some outstanding view points and an excellent restaurant for lunch. Roberto knew when places would be at their quietest and planned accordingly. We weren't rushed and nothing was too much trouble. We've done other tours but this is the best! Good luck with your business Roberto! You deserve to do well! Andy and Pam

    We only wish we had discovered this Tour Company earlier! Roberto, our guide and driver, was very knowledgeable about all the history, flora, and culture of this beautiful island- Madeira, PT. The East Coast was amazing. Picturesque can hardly describe it. The Pico do Arieiro, Ribeiro Frio (hike), and Ponta de Sao Lourenco were breathtaking. Santana was ok-not my fave. Roberto speaks many languages & was very entertaining. We all had fun. The Mercedes van was comfortable. We were fortunate that the weather was also wonderful. Roberto took us to a lunch spot near Ribeiro Frio that was fantastic. We had beef and tuna skewers with sides of sweet potatoes- omg delicious. In summary it could not have been a better day. Thank you Roberto- best rgds Eric

    Best day in Madeira! Roberto was the quintessential tour guide! His driving was gentle, calm and safe! He always encouraged us to take our time at all the stops and guided us as to the best way to navigate the sites! He took us to the exact place we needed to begin and was always right there to pick us up! We also enjoyed a scrumptious FRESH meal at his suggested lunch stop! Roberto taught us so many interesting facts about the islands flora, fauna and history, all with a brilliant style, filled with smiles and good humor ! Please take my advice and tour with MADERIA ELECTRIC TOURS and tell your friends! You’ll be so happy you did! Very happy client, Rachelle 😊

    Spent a wonderful day with Roberto in his super quiet & comfortable Mercedes Benz EV Van. Being an EV, it was really easy to hear & converse with Roberto. He was a wonderful guide, very knowledgable about the entire island. His English is perfect & he is very personable. We did the Full Day East Tour at Pico do Arieiro and Santana & he gave us all the time that we wanted to see the various stops which were BEAUTIFUL!! He never rushed us & added great information to make the stops & the whole tour great. We came in on a cruise ship & he picked us up & dropped us off right next to the ship so that we didn't have to walk far at all. Being a van, it is very easy to get in & out of. We stopped for lunch & he gave us a recommendation for a nice little restaurant which we really enjoyed. It was a GREAT tour very well worth the modest price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

    We had a thoroughly enjoyable day out with Roberto in the comfort of his electric Mercedes. He took us to places that weren't too crowded and gave us plenty of time to explore at our own pace. He was very knowledgeable about local plants and history.

    This was an excellent tour with a great guide. Roberto was very knowledgeable and gave us a good understanding of the people, culture and landscape of Madeira. We love his flexibility and he had a great sense of humor which made the tour fun. Definitely worth it.
