  Yumi Tours was good, the guide, Stephen took great care in pointing out different sights. We were the only two on the the tour, which could have stained the conversation, but not so. The cultural show, the blue lagoon, the beach area and the coffee experiences were all good. The only downside was the kava tasting - this could have been left out as it was not a welcoming experience for my wife amongst the male dominated kava place. Overall good. RobG

  The cultural village was very interesting and entertaining. We travelled around the whole island. Lunch was delicious and in a beautiful setting. The Blue lagoon was lovely and plenty of time to swim. Our guide Stan was very informative, polite and knowledgeable. We finished the day with coffee and Kava. We learnt a lot about Vanuatu, its history and culture from Stan. The car was clean and comfortable. Stan was a very careful driver. He was an excellent guide.

  We had a fabulous day exploring the island, the culture was excellent got to see how they preserve there food, how to make fishing line and Also how they catch there chickens and wild boar with a simple trap. Plus so much more. Blue Lagoon was beautiful great for a swim, must do We learnt a lot on this tour, Vincent was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately we miss out on the cava tasting, due the cruise boat people had to be back by a certain time.

  We had a fantastic round trip of Efate Island with Yumi Tours. Our driver and guide, Stan, was punctual, pleasant, and very accommodating throughout the day. We really appreciated the clean and comfortable 4WD, and Stan’s clear explanations of what to expect at each stop, along with his informative commentary along the way. The itinerary was well planned, offering a great mix of cultural experiences, nature, and a bit of adventure. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day, finished off perfectly with beautiful coffee and kava.   Great day out exploring Efate with our tour guide Julian who picked us up on time from our accommodation and explained all about the island while driving. We stopped at pepeyo village for demonstration on traditional kastom village and kastom dance/music. Then went to the blue lagoon which was amazing (lots of rope swings and platforms to jump into the water from!). After that headed up to the hot springs, got coated in volcanic/geothermal mud, rinsed off, and soaked in thermal baths of varying temperatures. Had a fantastic lunch at top rock (fried fish was excellent) with a stunning view. Then drive to Tanna coffee factory for a brief but informative tour on the process from plant to roasted bean, and a coffee in the cafe. We ran out of time but if we had longer, Julian would have taken us to a kava bar to finish. Lunch and entry fees to all stops were included in the price which honestly makes it pretty good value. Bring a bottle of water, swimwear, towel, suncream, and insect repellent.

  This was a 10/10 trip! Local guide Moses was an absolute legend and had a wealth of knowledge about Vanuatu past and present. Very interesting and informative!! All the stops were great, ran on time and very worth your while. Great value for your money. Lunch was amazing and the view was even better. The small size of the tour made it fun and personable, easy to stay on time and that we were able to chat and listen to everything Moses had to share. This is a must do tour to see all over Efate island!!

  Chris was a fantastic driver and guide who made us feel safe and comfortable. He was very friendly and happy to chat with us but also didn't mind when we just wanted to sit quietly and look out the window (we are introverts and I was nervous about not being talkative enough, but it was no problem at all). Everything about the trip was good and nice, but I have to talk about the food at Top Rock. It was AMAZING! I think anything you order will be delicious but a special mention to the chicken and mushrooms with rice.

  Our guide Moses gave us an in-depth understanding of the island from its inception to the present time. He brought it all to life. Plus he had a great sense of humor and truly took care of all our needs. We swam , we ate, we visited the tribal cultural village which was wonderful. I would say it was one of the best tours we’ve taken in a long time…Thank you Moses❤️

  Our tour guide Moses was awesome! He drove us all over the island imparting information about Vauautu. The cultual village was super interesting and entertaing with firewaling and music. It was nice to float in the Blue Lagoon watching people rope swing into the water. Our fresly caught red snapper lunch was sooo yummy. We did a little swimming at Survivor beach and found a blue starfish. The hot springs were full of storm debris, so we skipped that stop and opted out of the kava stop. Be aware if taking this tour, that the roads can be very bumpy. Thanks for a great tour!

  This was a great tour. Our meeting instructions were clear and it was easy to find Yumi tours once we disembarked the tender boat. We visited the local village for an explanation of some of their customs and activities - all things they are trying to keep alive in the modern age. Then the wonderful blue lagoon where we swam In beautiful clear cool waters. Then it was the hot springs where we dangled our feet in one of the several pools of really quite hot water. Lunch was at a lovely spot overlooking the ocean where we enjoyed our fish and chips and cold drinks. Finally, we visited the coffee factory and Kava house and back to the ship with plenty of time. A really interesting and fun itinerary. Our guide, Alfred was excellent. He told us so much about the country and the way of life there. I would thoroughly recommend this tour for anyone visiting on a cruise ship.
