Over that, Nosy Iranja is really like you're on another planet, it's a unique natural wonder in the world. Iranja (small and large Iranja) is the island that turns into 1 island at low tide connected by a fabulous, unearthly beauty snow-white sand bench.
Our guests are not just tourists on Nosy Iranja, but guests of the local native fishing village. The locals provide us with our own palm hut for the entire stay. Also they prepare and serve a real, traditional Malagasy lunch for you.
You will admire and enjoy the snow-white coral sands of Iranja and the supernatural beauty of its coastline
You can enjoy snorkelling, diving, sunbathing or a short walk to the island’s lighthouse.
In addition we also offer a special 10-minute real diving experience without diving licence, with our mini diving tanks. But we also provide snorkel equipment on request, or even hammocks to be used on coconut palms.
We also take real pro GoPro videos of the trips and plenty of stills for our guests.

During the tour we allways provide snacks (like lokal sweet and salted banana chips) and fresh tropical (sesonal) fruits, like mango, jackfruit, litchie, banana, papaya, etc.
We will also provide you with a local phone card and a phone, including internet which works through the whole archipelago. During the whole trip you are welcome to use it.
Real Malagasy lunch in the local fisherman village, made and served by the natives. Delicious traditional Malagasy seafood and zebu stew, or chicken dishes.
Use of Snorkelling equipment
During the whole trip we providing cooled soft drinks, water, local bier, Malagasy Coco punch and even fruit flavoured Malagasy Rums.
Use of SCUBA equipment
1liter mini scuba diving tank! If you want a real scuba diving experience but having no diving licence, for an additional 25€/person you can dive for app 10 minutes with our unique mini scuba tanks.

On our day trip, you will admire and enjoy the snow-white coral sands of Iran and the supernatural beauty of its coastline. We will visit the jungle as well as the authentic fishing village of the island. You can enjoy snorkelling, diving, sunbathing or a short walk to the island’s lighthouse. The lucky ones can even see egg-laying sea turtles or just hatching turtles in the south of the island. We will serve the Malagasy lunch, prepared by local people (crabs and shrimps, grilled fish, zebu stew, coconut rice, salads, and tropical fruits) in the shade of coconut palms in the native's village. For nature lovers and true travellers, this programme is a must.

4.00Unmissable boat trip on Nosy Iranja with its strip of sand between the two islands and the meal prepared on site. You can book the day before directly with the small Malagasy agencies on site. It's about 130 to 140,000 ariary per person for an outing with a meal.

5.00Day trip from Nosy Be to this tropical paradise. These are two islands which at low tide are connected by a strip of very white sand (about 1.5 km long) which disappears at low tide. A truly unique place. I consider myself a decent world traveler but I had never seen a place like this. Incredible colors of the sea, at low tide, in addition to the main strip of sand that connects the two islands, other secondary strips and islets of pure sand emerge which leave isolated small lagoons and glimpses of the sea with incredible colors and very warm water. If paradise exists, it must be something similar, a phrase that I have already heard and seen in other reviews, but which came to me spontaneously as soon as I arrived in this singular place. For me it is one of the most spectacular natural wonders on the planet.

5.00We left Nosy Komba, with a fast boat, in an hour and forty we reached the paradise of Nosy Iranja, it is not wrongly considered the most beautiful island in Madagascar, words are not enough to describe it, just go there. The visit to the lighthouse is picturesque, there is a toothless old man, who will open the iron door of the lighthouse closed by a padlock, the spiral staircase of rusty iron that rises is a bit precarious some steps can give way under the weight of a person, so be careful, the view from above is beautiful.

5.00We visited Iranja from a cruise ship anchored off Nosy Be. Max met us at the tender and took us for a 90 min, bumpy boat ride to Iranja, a beautiful ribbon of sand connecting 2 islands. Warm blue and emerald water on both sides. We could only spend a half day as the cruise ship was anchored only from 10 to 5. We had sufficient time to walk the sand bridge, swim and enjoy a huge spectacular local lunch. Max always had water and snacks at hand. Well worth the trip.

5.00Beautiful day, magnificent place low tide in the morning which allows you to go around the small island and then around lunchtime I return back to visit nosy iranja.

5.00It speaks of Madagascar where two small islands are connected by a strip of fine sand (it looks like talcum powder) and white with colors of the sea to leave you speechless. At high tide the tongue disappears. Here too there is a typical village with handicrafts and many children who cover you with so much love just looking at them...

5.00The island is located about 1h30 outboard south of Nosy be, near the Malagasy coast. Nosy iranja consists of two islets, iranja Be and iranja Kely (Great Iranja & Little Iranja) connected by a 1.2 km white sandbank. Called Turtle Island because it is a nesting place for it , this island is renowned for being one of the most beautiful landscapes of the archipelago (discovering turtle island)
