This activity is one of a kind, you'll get a fun, educational adventure from experienced enthusiastic guides. The Mayan kingdom is the foundation of the history of Central America and Belize and exploring it the right way is priceless. At the end of the tour you'll have a new found appreciation for history, art and Belizean culture, and of course a ton of awesome photos and memories. Lastly our tours are done in small groups of 10 people the most, this is to ensure an optimal experience for everyone that decides to join us.

*** MUST READ: This tour is fun filled and memorable day but none of these sites are on an island. If you are on an island you will need to take the first ferry off & head to Belize City for pick up*** This tour will take you on a adventure back into a 1000 years in history itself. You will explore the wonders of the mayan world, their cave systems on a tube , jungle and plants. We will go explore the Mayan Temple Altun ha, you'll get to hike to the top and around it with our guide giving you all you need to know about the site and the maya world. Then we head deeper into the jungle to go explore the cave systems. We will hike for about 20mins with out tubes through the jungle, you'll get a fun lesson on plant identification, insect identification and all their medicinal uses throughout history in Belize. Then we cave tube down and river and through several caves enjoying the scenery. Lastly we Zipline over the jungle canopy. We then return to Belize City in the evening around 4pm. This amazing experience starts at 8am in Belize City . The pick up would be at your hotel in Belize or arrival port if coming from the islands.

Ziplining was fun. The cave tubing was very relaxing. We learned so much from our super knowledgeable guide Gorilla George.

5.00Great tour. Ziplining was fun and the guides even used our phones to video us too. Cave tubing was excellent. Our guide Gorilla George knew so much information. We did encounter 2 snakes on the path to tubing (which I hate) but then again we're hiking in a rainforest so shouldn't be a surprise. The caves were stunning. The Mayan temples were interesting. The best part is you can climb the stairs so we were able to squeeze in an impromptu workout to burn off all the wonderful Belizean cuisine we've been eating. Coming from Secret Beach made for an early and long day but it was a great tour.
Best experience while traveling solo.

5.00My tour guide Josh was very friendly and welcoming. He picked me up and dropped me off at my hotel. The meal we received was amazing. I’m still thinking about it. I would definitely recommend this experience to all travelers.

5.00The experience was amazing and our driver Jeff was great too. Highly recommend the experience. It was worth the fee and I would do it again. However, one of the guys Josh started using my personal number to make advances at me which I found very unprofessional. He proceeded to look and make comments that made me feel uncomfortable-- which tainted things a little for me. Professionalism is so important, which I believe they were outside of that incident with Joshua.

5.00This excursion was worth every penny! We were supposed to have Josh as a tour guide but we had Aansar instead and it was great. He made us laugh the whole time we were on the excursion and he was very thorough while explaining the history of Belize. The visit was basically the whole day. The food that we had on this excursion was the best food we had on the whole trip! Thank you Aansar ! Please book!

5.00We had an amazing experience. Started off by taking Carribean Sprinter to Belize City and Joey meeting us right there. Along with our family was only 2 other people. The van ride to our first excursion was filled with a lot of information and some trivia that made the time fly by. With our smaller group we’re able to move around and see more especially than the larger groups we saw. Next up for zip lining and then lunch, so good, then cave tubing. Blown away by how much time on river was in cave but our group was so fun and Joey our guide was the best. I did notice other groups and guides and I did not see one guide as talkative as Joey so we lucked out. Not only would we recommend this company, the excursion, if you can get Joey you’ll have so much fun. He was funny, knowledgeable, and super nice and kept us on track. Thank you for making this an experience we will never forget.

5.00We arrived in Belize city and were greeted by our guide Joey at the terminal for the water taxi. He showed us where to grab a coffee while he gathered other guests. So informative and engaging on our ride to Altun ha. Great tour of the Mayan archeological site, and off to zip lining. Again so knowledgeable of nature and wildlife. Enjoyed a delicious Belizian lunch and short hike to cave tubing. My favorite experience! Joey was incredible. Our tubes were tethered together as we floated with our guide through the caves and down the river. This tour was a must. Communication was great. Guide was amazing.

5.00If you're looking for the ultimate adventure, this is a must. From start to finish Josh and George of the Jungle were phenomenal. Josh was our main tour guide and he was amazing. He filled us with knowledge from his homeland and even showed us his family home. George of the Jungle aka Medicine Man was hands down the best tour guide in Belize. His 30 plus years of experience, knowledge of the rainforest, shared valuable insights regarding natural health remedies and energy and passion made the entire experience unforgettable. If you come to Belize this tour is a must...

5.00Josh was great along with George and everyone else. Super respectful and extremely knowledgeable. Learned a lot and was not disappointed would definitely recommend this for sure. The people at Salt Life Eco Tours were amazing!
